can't equip f.e. 2 ap-doffs (zemok). if the profession and effect is the same, but the doff an other it works (the xindi in this case).
going with 2 zemoks and the xindi does not work, plz fix asap, thx!
possible workaround edit (works without drag/drop with just swapping em for each other here as well):
Start by equipping the doff you desire to have multiple copies of.
Then equip a doff you don't care about merely as a placeholder.
Drag the second doff into the slot where the placeholder resides, the exact place.
Multiple copies.
may have to repeated when changing maps from space to ground and back (space only seems to work here)
workaround edit 2:
Same here.
Changing active doffs will have no affect when warping to new sectors. It loads an old Doff Setup..ever and ever again.
Workaround (but annoying)
Open Doff window and change your Doffs (if possible :P ) and leave it open!
Then warp into a Sector, STF or whatever with still the Doff window open. They will stay that way.
Not the finest solution but it works.
save the loadout after you slotted doffs on top of the other. it seems to help when switching maps afterwards
Just as an update from myself, I seem to have maybe fixed my triple tech doff issue. I switched ships and made a loadout after setting my techs up using the method mentioned here on using a placeholder. Now they are sticking around no matter if I transition between space and ground, or even to an stf. I switched from a JHDC to a dyson science ship. I haven't gone back to the jhdc yet to see if they are completely fixed yet though.

fed tac romulan cannon slot in second zemok. Second zemok in question did change the status from unbound to bound.
Can we expect this to be fixed? as you all aware zemoks aren't cheap.
Thchiki ap connection doff is being slotted normally with zemok, so I suppose the issue lies with slotting the same doff twice.
would be nice to see it fixed without kicking tires like that.

slot some other engi in between. It seem to help me.
Another thing I've noticed when changing the zones, it seems to remember doffs slotted from previously saved configuration:
1. slot 5 doffs.
2. save config
3. remove doffs
4. move to diff location (space -> ground or ground -> space)
5. wait a little
6. open slotted doffs: they seem to be slotted again.
Naturally I wonder if the bug related to slotting the same doffs, or does it simply "thinks" that all slots are already filled.
Had two Ten of Tens (purple technician) equipped. Successfully got with them through one Undine Assault, but during the initial cutscene to Surface Tension I got this: "[System] Unable to assign some duty officers to the active roster." One of the Tens unequipped along with another (unrelated) Technician and "Law" became equipped instead. Also, some of my ship's weapons got switched around.
Since then I can't slot both Tens and had "[System] Unable to assign some duty officers to the active roster." happen twice more - first time while selling things in Starfleet Academy, second time while waiting on Earth's orbit. Both times same happened: 2 (non-Ten) technicians unslotted, "Law" slotted instead.
did check after a reload (thx poster above ) and still same problem. can't equip 2 zemoks.
fun fact is that i don't get any system-message, it's just not working (the slot not gets filled/2nd doff not set as active).
also the swippy-swappy thing i can confirm, like items changing slots in my inventory or weapons swapping back to inventory from an assigned ship slot .

I have yet to see if it works after 10 minutes, as mentioned in the other thread.
Edit: I just logged back in (at least 30 minutes after logging out), and I found that my active space duty officers had once again reverted to a previous configuration. I'll try the 10-minute thing, but if they just revert when you log out, I don't see much point in it.
- equipping two zemoks does still not work! (checked with other doffs as well i got two copies of)
- freeing up two slots, saving layout, switching maps:
the two "free" slots are filled with the doffs i removed before saving the layout
- then equipping the layout with the slots assigned: doffs assigned (as long there's only one of each)
- switching back to layout saved with two free slots: slots are free/no doff assigned (as it should be)
- trying to slot two of the same doff in those free slots: fail!
damn... this really can drive one nuts, at least plz confirm this bug cryptic ...
edit: bug only seems to occur on my fed, on my klink two maintenance engies (larafay) seem to work as intended (stay slotted after ship-/map-change, i won't try to unassign one :P)
Now you got me scared, and I don't wanna try swapping them out myself.
It is truly beyond belief how buggy this expansion has been so far.
It also looked like those striking doffs decided to swap out my gravimetric torpedoes for some lame plasma beam. Again--I was in the middle of the fight and kept wondering why I wasn't seeing that occasional rather beautiful barrage of orange torpedos performing cleanup on the Borg with my torpedo spread. However, it looks like those doffs were careful to only do it as part of the system update yesterday.
- KDF eng unable to exchange old ambassy or spire kits (no trade in)
- lost KDF fleet technicien traits on several chars (tradable trait)
- wierd 'other' traits like : 20% CD on transwarps (checked doffs, none installed)
- no choice marks box on some missions like CCE or breach elite, only reward Dyson or nukara when opening boxes.
- space equipement unsloted from ships randomly (tac consoles, universal consoles) for ex: on tac bortasq I was missing 1/5 Locator tac console, the only ambassy sci console I had and an universal consoles I dont remember (maybe aceton assimilators or something like that) and 1/7 rom plasma beam in front slots.
- loosing textures, objects etc from time to time, meaning even in space no stars, no ships, not even space station, pictures Windows looks realy blur and cant even see the ship but can randomly clic and end up on someone else ship.
- and of course that one was realy expected, state of the art computers running like 10-15years old one . (ASUS sabertooth 2011 motherboard, I7 3820, 16GB ram, ASUS HD7970 3GB, 180GB + 240GB intel 335series SSD, Win 7 pro x64)
if I can I'll edit this one asap when finding more...
Since I know this is not that poor lonely guy in charge of fixing devs new bugs fault but cryptic/pwe politics I'm not gonna blame him or devs but I wont put any money in game as long as everything isnt put back in place (tradable space traits for ex).
If they dont see the point of having a REAL TEAM to fix bugs when more than half the game is buged then I dont see the point of paying for buged stuff.

and my DOFF's went back to the way they were before. I thought I could put them back while I was in sector space, but that's a no-go now also.
Looks like it's the ground for a while until this is fixed for this one character. I do not have a problem with my Fed character, which has three purple technicians slotted that have the same name.
Done and done!
Will alert the team to this issue and await a response from the Devs.
Will update the thread as soon as I get any news.

lmao ... have been sure i tried that as well, but yeah... obviously i did not ^^ :rolleyes:.... seem to work fine, even with map-changes. ur my hero, thx mate!
At the first moment it seem to work but after changing from space to ground and back to space the doffs was back at their previous state before i changed them.
