We've imported most of the projects from Holodeck to Tribble.
I'd appreciate it if any of you that have the time could log in to Tribble and check out your published missions to see if there are any unexpected problems.
I especially would like you guys to look at any published mission that uses ESD interacts and/or Contacts to make sure the ESD revamp didn't mess things up.
I was able to get in and test my mission. The only issue I found was that pathing appeared to be missing. A number of other authors I spoke to also reported this.
Now this may simply be a side effect of the mission being transferred between servers, however publishing was unavailable (and the Foundry was subsequently taken down because of the [REDACTED]) that I haven't been able to confirm this hypothesis.
I was able to get in and look at my mission that starts on ESD. "Over There" actually has two entry doors. One on SFA, then you go back out to a social map contact, then you go up to ESD and enter a custom map, the turbolift door right next Admiral Quinn's office that takes you down to the lower levels.
On current ESD that is available as a Foundry door. When I load up the mission on Tribble and look at what the mission door is selected as, and it says it is set to "Entry Door" which doesn't seem to be anywhere on the map. I don't think the turbolifts are doors anymore.
It is an easy thing to select a different door. But if anyone else starts their mission at the turbolift, they should know they may need to select a new door.
Tried one of the missions I know starts from the the "terminal across from the Transporter room" on Holodeck, and there seems to be no equivalent terminal in the new design, so as a heads up, Foundry missions starting from that terminal will have to have new "doors" picked as well.

They apparently kicked that console to the other side of the map because TRIBBLE you.

I had no trouble accessing one of my missions which starts from ESD. The only issue I found is that there is no indication of which doors in ESD are the portals for UGC. This is a problem in the current ESD (Holodeck), but it's easier to overcome that due to there being clear directions (e.g. "the door on the right side of the corridor across from ESD). In the new ESD, there are less standout points to direct people to those doors. Also doors that were in main thoroughfare areas are now in the corners near the shipyards out of the way.
Other than that the doors worked as they should it's just difficult to find them.
Should have some buttons on your game launcher just above the patching progress bar labeled "Holodeck" "Tribble" and "Redshirt."
Click "Tribble" and it'll patch the client with the test server.
What if you're still using the original launcher because Steam? I got no buttons.

All of the consoles, contacts and doors from past ESD should (I know, that's a dangerous word) have been moved to new ESD. They may not be in equivalent locations, but I'm reasonably sure they are all there. For example, the old Wall console #1 that used to be just outside the Transporter Room is now in a conference room on the lower level of Ops.
Published missions are supposed to have waypoints for these interacts. I did find an issue today where a previously published mission had its ESD interact (Wall console #1) not showing a waypoint and the interact didn't work when I got to it. That was fixed by republishing the project. As far as I know, the Tribble projects have not been republished since their initial import and publish, so if you are seeing something similar with your missions, try a manual republish and see if that fixes it.
I'm concerned about the reports of a lack of pathing in missions. If you can, see if a manual republish fixes this.

Okay Found the start location here.... for Alpha Flight.
When you select a door from the left hand menu, it zooms the camera to where that door is on the map, and there is the little graphical indicator there that you can click as well.
However, when you select "Entry Door" on the list, it zooms you to somewhere thats off that map and there is no graphic button there. I tried to start a mission that had that selected as the door, and ran all over the station and couldn't find it.
I have some positive news to report. A republish of my mission cleared up the missing pathing issue. At this point I'm assuming it was simply a side effect of the transfer.

I jumped on and tested, I'm using what used to be a door on the main level of ESD (Inbetween Requisitions and the Auction House) and I am running into similar trouble as what Drogyn and i8472 are describing. Checked the main deck, mezzanine, and Red deck: no dice.
In addition to not finding this entry door I used for my mission, as well as the fact some directions no longer work or make sense, I'm going to need to have my Spotlight mission: "One Too Many" withdrawn and opened up for my editing again.
Frost, do I make a post in bug forums about that, contact you, or contact the STO community manager about withdrawing a spotlight due to this for next season?
also I'm curious are Map exit points supposed to have the map markers? (**glowing circle on mini map and arrow)
objectives placed on ESD have markers but map exit points do not.
(tested with using Potted plant in Quins office.... and panel in the tailor shop.)
Yeah I noticed that too. It's weird to have it draw a circle to mark where an NPC is, but not doors. It's nice that it marks NPCs, but it'd be good to have it mark doors too. Actually, now that I think about it... SPACE doors are like that too.
I did however notice in the tribble ESD door list that all of the listed doors, except the one Drogyn used, seemed to exist somewhere.
EDIT: I wonder if that location off to the side of the map might actually be the 0/0/0 point in the new ESD? :P If so, maybe this door really doesn't exist at all?

I know there was at least one console "up" (at least I always imagined you took the turbolift up) in the Starship Requisitions area (on the same wall as the turbolift, to the left as you get out). My mission didn't get transferred to tribble, so I can't test to see
a) if the console is still around, and
b) where the new location is
Well, I'm not sure which console you mean, but the new shipyard area has something like 4 consoles in it that are selectable for this.
I think he means the one to your left as you exit the turbolift in the shipyard. It would be hard to tell exactly where that specific console shifted to, unless we have someone with a mission that starts there on Holodeck go look at it on Tribble.
Good info, thanks all. I'll get the Entry Door and the Doors descriptions, and that waypoints don't apply to doors written up. Hopefully, we can get those fixed before the Foundry reopens after the new Season goes live. If that can't be done for some reason, I'll look into what the preferred method of getting Featured missions to be editabale again is.
At least there's good news in that it sounds like the Foundry is otherwise working well with the new season.
I poked around and didn't notice anything broken. No white objects, no long load times, no cut off maps (though admittedly I only glanced through them).
The new face and complexion options are in, which is fantastic! The placeable NPC contacts that come from the ESD map have their uniforms updated, also great!
Some chest and leg armor options appeared in the character creator for females only. 3 chest options and one leg option that doesn't match any of them.
Tribble's Foundry character creator isn't working so I can't test the one project I have that actually uses ESD.

Thanks, however, if you could you may just want to start looking into that now. Previously we talked to Brandon about it and if it is just the new guy what way he prefers us to get a hold of him would be awesome.
Thanks again Frost. Keep up being super... cool.
And now I can't get onto Tribble at all because the client freezes at the LOR splash.

Also, I checked for reach marker minimap indicators being off, like what happened in Season 8. Didn't see any issues, but if I recall correctly that had to do with the auto-republishing process, which I assume the missions you guys ported over to tribble didn't exactly go through. So we'll just have to watch it when they come back up.

Thanks for the report. Under investigation.
UPDATE
There is a problem in that many of the Species are failing character creation. As a work around, I've found the following species to work:
Fed: Bajoran (M&F), Benzite (M&F), Betazoid (M&F), Ferengi (M&F), Saurian (M&F), Alien (M&F)
KDF: Gorn, Lethean, Orion (Female only), Alien (M&F)
