Ever Since Season 9 Pre-Patch

Ever since I got the pre-patch files for Season 9, I get the following:
  • Disconnected from the gameserver
  • Server Not Responding disconnects
  • Launcher takes excessive amounts of time to load
  • Launcher gives the following error:
    There was an error loading the login page. Please restart the launcher and try again.
    Error -2 when loading url /launcher_prepatch
  • Launcher loads but sits in limbo between loading and bringing up the login screen
  • When trying to switch characters, cannot connect to the account server
  • "Trying to update launcher" fails

The only change that has been made to my computers (two of them experiencing the same problem) is the pre-patch. Everything was absolutely fine on both computers I play STO on prior to the Season 9 pre-patch.

Obviously, this is making the game unplayable, since I can't even access it. Solution?

    I have experienced dc's that I haven't realy experienced before the pre patch. Good thing I wasn't in a mission and was just chatting but still.. hopefully it doesn't become a constant.

    There have been no other incidents reported of what you are experiencing.

    Are you a Cryptic or PWE employee able and authorized to speak for them, or someone who just assumes there are no other reports of this issue without really knowing for sure?

    I'm not trying to be difficult (which may be surprising), but from the information under your avatar - and your hidden profile information - you appear to be just another player, like me.

    Disconnected from the server
    Server Not Responding
    Rubber banding
    Launcher cannot connect to the account server


    These are the problems that some of my friends and myself have been having. Today, I was not only kicked from the server, but out of the game entirely (2 times). Also, when it kicked me out, it popped up a message that said that Cryptic had an error, and said oops.

    Before I did the pre-patch, I have only had a server not responding once in a blue moon. It did this when we had the pre-patch for season 8.5

    I don't know if it is because the patch is only a part of what it should be, or if it is just their servers messing up again with new content being added. However, I will not be doing anymore pre-patching before another season, or content launch. It is just too buggy, and prevents my friends and I front being able to play the game.
