Not a fan of the nerf to expose powers. My sci toons hate you. Also my characters that use Melee weapons want to slash at you, but only with the right hand side of their blade apparently.

So does 'oops' mean that it's going to be changed for melee weapons...
Melee changes will be reverted. They will be returned to having the same chance to Expose with both Left and Right attacks (not reduced from the previous values).
1/ Why has the Expose/Exploit on the primary fire been nerf'd?
The Expose chance currently in the game is balanced around Secondary Firing modes that have extended cooldowns. Giving a primary fire, with no cooldown, an Expose functionality made it too situationally powerful. We decided to reduce its chances to go off on Primary Attacks in order to bring these closer to our design expectations.

Less overdramatic panic, please. This is a test server, after all.
It's born of previous experience with the test server, mostly from bad explanations and not enough dev response. Do I want something to go onto the main server that's clearly wrong? Of course not.
Glad to see this is being reverted, but also I'm a little anxious rep gear hasn't been made readily available for testing, most of us don't have the time to grind a rep on tribble even if the projects complete in 30 seconds.
If I can expect to see more dev responses and proper testing times in the future I won't worry as much, but until then previous experience says otherwise.
Ten soldiers wisely led will beat a hundred without a head. - Euripides
I no longer do any Bug Hunting work for Cryptic. I may resume if a serious attempt to fix the game is made.
Okay we get it you want better QoL for your Romulan but here is the answer NO! NO! NO! why because you keep spamming this in every tribble patch forums, I would prefer to see a transporter going to and from the respected academies instead, something like what Q had for the anniversary but maybe not so flashy.
A while back, someone suggested a fleet marks/credit exchange that would work like the dilithium exchange. It wouldn't solve all the problems fleets are facing, but it would simultaneously alleviate the shortage of fleet marks in small fleets and the shortage of fleet credits in large fleets.
I had suggested a Fleet ->, Rep -> Fleet conversion through a player exchange, yeah. That's one thing it would address. Another is that it would make unpopular content more rewarding because the exchange rate would be higher.
If everyone wants Nukara gear and nobody wants Nukara content, people would need someone else doing the Nukara content to get that gear through the exchange and those people could enjoy a higher exchange rate. Convert their Nukara marks into lots of FM and then convert FM to Omega Marks which would probably run cheaper.
My proviso is that I might argue for leaving out whatever the latest rep is from the exchange to encourage people to at least try it for four or five months.
Melee changes will be reverted. They will be returned to having the same chance to Expose with both Left and Right attacks (not reduced from the previous values).
This was unintentional, and will be returned to the correct value.
Less overdramatic panic, please. This is a test server, after all.
Overdramatic and panic is perfectly understandable. For example Polarized Tetryon weapons are completely broken with a 0.1% pro chance instead of the 10% that is confirmed by tons of players, confirmed by a dev but still no fix. Weapons like Transphasic mines are missing from the fleet store. Then there is the entire [borg] proc question. Ages ago we get told its being removed due to being broken and it would never return due to a major unfixable bug. After asking lots of questions not one single dev response about the reintroduction of it. Has the proc been fixed? Has all the old problems been fixed? Can we now use our old [borg] weapons? Can the old borg weapon shop be reintroduced? Has it still got that unfixable bug from before?
So dramatic is perfectly understandable as player we have no idea which bugs are unintentional changes or planed changes. Often the really big nerfs make it to the live server with no dev comment and never get fixed. Like Omega Graviton Amplifier is an example of a massive nerf with zero dev comment. my proc rate is down to once every 30+ min on my torpedo boat. 100% proc down to once every 30min is that fair?
I for one am fed up reporting bugs and fed up spending hour testing as nothing seems to get done most of the time. There is a flaw in the bug reporting process when players are posting 100% repeatable steps, posting in the correct forum, posting with the in game bug report tool. Yet the bugs are making it to the live server and often still being around after years.
It make us testers feel like we are being ignored. Lots of us used to spend hours writing detailed bug report and hours testing and are now thinking why bother.

I agree with Pottsey5g on this one, We spend the time and put in the effort to report these issues yet we hear nothing back from them. And again with the flaws that have already been highlighted with season 9, you've committed yourself to a release date nine days from this post. This isn't enough time to correct these issues. Let alone test the fixes correctly. I don't know if its down to poor quality assurance or that fact that the people your actually listening to aren't doing a thorough enough job of testing the new content.
And as for the comment about Tribble only being a test server. How many items have made it through to Holodeck and the player base have not been informed of the changes. Granted there can be so many in a bug fix that it might not be feasible to list them all, but when major changes are rail roaded through it becomes a whole different story.

Honestly I'd forgotten it had a primary expose chance as i don't use it much.

As someone who mods weapons in other games, let me tell you how hard to fix that bug is.
You need to go into every type of (Borg) AP weapon, and delete the old "Borg" proc, if that's unfixable due to script error. Now you make a new Borg proc that works, and add it to the Borg Ap weapons.
Depending on the number of Borg weapons, it could take a single person a *GASP* 3-6 hours of work to fix!
Unfixable my *** .
Let us wear Swimsuits on Foundry maps or bridges please! I would pay zen for that.

But have they added in a new [Borg] proc that is fixed or has a dev used the old [borg] proc not being aware its broken? I could not get into any STF's to check on tribble and I couldn't gain access to the new borg weapon from Fluidic Dynamics as the mission is broken.
No confirmation. They added in a new weapon as a mission reward with [borg] that is broken and no comment about the old weapons either.

Erm.... that was just a theory I posted about how they could have fixed the bugged weapon.
Let us wear Swimsuits on Foundry maps or bridges please! I would pay zen for that.
The first time a player completes "Fluid Dynamics" they will receive:
A unique "Adaptive Transphasic Torpedo Mk XII [Dmg]x3 [Borg]" which deals additional damage to enemy Borg.
I replayed Fluid Dynamics with a character who had done it previously.
No torpedo was recieved.
I hope this was an oversight, since you're denying the acquisition of this weapon to every single character in the game who has done this mission before.
While I'm not a torpedo user, when I used them priorly, I equipped two of every torpedo, one for forward firing and one for aft firing.
What if a player desired to do this with this torpedo?
They'd only get one.
Therefore, you should add this weapon to the mission as a standard mission reward, so a player can acquire as many of them as they desire.
Bees like honey, they don't like vinegar.
Everytime someone makes a character that is an copy of an existing superhuman, Creativity is sad
Don't know if this helps or not, and not trying to go against the flow or players that can not get it, but I ran Fluid Dynamics 2 nights ago with my Main that had previously finished the mission on Holodeck and was able to receive the torpedo. However, I did not notice ANY change in damage when fighting against Borg ships with it equipped.
I do agree with most players on here that "What is the purpose of testing if nothing gets fixed?" Granted, I do enjoy the early access to content and I do like to Bug Hunt, but not if we report and report and report and the bug makes it to Holodeck anyway.
Also, I am REALLY disappointed in Cryptic with the idea of Grinding the new rep to test. What is up with that? As if we didn't have enough grind on Holodeck, you want us to come to the TEST SERVER and Grind here too? Seriously? I can understand you wanting people to play the new content to test it for bugs, but let there be a Tribble Only Reward to get people to play those missions, don't make it a grind. As it is, you have to wait hours, most times, to find enough people to even get a queue going to get the Undie Marks for the Reputation, let alone enough Marks to get all the sets to test out. No way am I going to grind for those sets on Tribble to TEST, then, turn around and Grind them again on Holodeck. Please Devs, if you want people to test items out and to report, then put an Undie Rep Box in with all the rest so we can get the gear and test it while there is time.

Well, we still have a week, and they are probably going to do another tribble patch soon. They are definitely going to put Undine equipment on the test console just like they've done in the past. I say we should just be patient, that's all.
Also, I am REALLY disappointed in Cryptic with the idea of Grinding the new rep to test. What is up with that? As if we didn't have enough grind on Holodeck, you want us to come to the TEST SERVER and Grind here too? Seriously?
I do agree. There is a week left before this goes to Holodeck, and they haven't given a good chance for players to test the new sets because you need to grind 750 marks per piece. Oh well, it will go to Holodeck and then the bugs will be noticed like with the Solanae set.
It will be idiotic to release this new list of bugs so called season 9 on Holodeck, for me this is add-on for season 8.There is nothing new in the store just very (finally) good redesign of Earth space station which comes late for 2 yrs at-list , and old enemy again with nonexistent story line with no basis in the books or comics or any authorized scenario
Devs should concentrate to resolve old problems with system for all factions and redesign the game (with support of players).
I doubt this will go out for 1 week but if it is really happened STO will lose more players.

I wholeheartedly agree.
When this patch goes live, I'll be doing whatever grind queue is necessary 180 times.
And 30 times each on characters created after that.
So what makes you think I'll want to do it even once on Tribble, where the players are so limited the wait time for queues to fill is quite prolonged and it may not launch at all.
And I'll have to do it a total of 60 times to get the required 8472 points to go all the way to T5!
I've said it before and apparently I'll have to keep saying it, as you fail to acknowledge the point:
Put a level up NPC on Drozana.
They have one in CO, so I know there's a precedent.
You basically instruct the NPC to set your level and it's done a few seconds later.
A variation of that could be applied here, tell the NPC which Rep to raise and to what Tier, done.
That would be more practical then collecting the points via queues or filling 60 invididual assignments one by one.

Yeah we definitely need something like this on the Tribble test server.
I have the feeling they didn't add Undine rep items to the test console because if they did then people wouldn't bother running any of the new content to try it out. But like we've all stated many times, we're not going to grind out a rep on the test server so the items from that rep system are not going to get much if any testing before hitting the live server.

True alters don't have a "main". Account wide unlocks for all unique event rewards!!
Updated rewards for all four of the newly-revamped Borg/Undine Missions.
Each now includes a Purple Mk X (for levels 40-49) or Mk XI (for level 50) piece of gear as a reward option.
The first time a player completes "Assimilation" they will have a choice of one Borg Prosthetic Arm assault weapon.
Additional weapons of this type can be found in the Omega Reputation.
The first time a player completes "Fluid Dynamics" they will receive:
15 Omega Marks
A unique "Adaptive Transphasic Torpedo Mk XII [Dmg]x3 [Borg]" which deals additional damage to enemy Borg.
Since the missions have been revamped and these rewards are new they should be available to everyone. On my tribble char i already finished said missions, but because these rewards were added later i cannot get them anymore.
Allow everyone to get the new rewards on the first time they play the missions after the revamp.
Personally i wanted to test the adaptive transphasic torpedo.
This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.

Yeah I do think it's a bit unfair that these rewards wont be available to the majority of existing players whom have already completed these missions.

Please Devs, if you want people to test items out and to report, then put an Undie Rep Box in with all the rest so we can get the gear and test it while there is time.
I do agree. There is a week left before this goes to Holodeck, and they haven't given a good chance for players to test the new sets because you need to grind 750 marks per piece. Oh well, it will go to Holodeck and then the bugs will be noticed like with the Solanae set.
Devs should concentrate to resolve old problems with system for all factions and redesign the game (with support of players).
I doubt this will go out for 1 week but if it is really happened STO will lose more players.
I AM PISSED OFF AFTER 3 YRS. I STILL CAN'T USE OR CHANGE OR DELETE OUTFIT IN 3 OF 5 OUTFIT SLOTS ON MY KLINGON TOON !

Yeah I do think it's a bit unfair that these rewards wont be available to the majority of existing players whom have already completed these missions.
I'm sorry to people who I, in the past, insulted, annoyed, etc.
I have asked Cryptic-EQAH Via twitter and have not gotten a response but I have the same feeling
There's still a week left. Plenty more time for them to drop another patch on Tribble before release.
Edit: Like 20 minutes after this post was made haha.
