    The reason is:

It has limited access - therefore less general spam (gorn jokes, terrible political views, etc.) clogging up the chat channel. A nice, classy place to get things done in relative peace.

    YAY!

If only there wasn't some idiot jumping all over the place every time I go there, making you a liar... :(

(I'm saying it SHOULD work like you've stated. NOT calling you a liar.)

The entirety of the new ESD ground map is already on Deck 47. There won't be a turbolift to the Club, just a doorway.

Would it be possible to ensure that the music for the club is locked to only be heard inside the room and not in the currently accessible lounge.

While you all designing or doing the work on ESD and such I have a little well big suggestion. One of the games I've been playing out there while not feeling so great about this one has different ways you can obtain a home or estate kind of thing. My suggestion is instead of holdings for certain things like say ESD, K-7, and other bases out there to have something like this as in quarters or where a character is stationed.

Being something that doesn't require player hosting so you can get a fixed location if you want to log a character out at to immediately get to where you want to access something and same time get more actual immersion into the game. Just figured it would be a helpful suggestion to make any kind of preparations to allow room for it if it were to ever happen.

Plus we should have a mini game in the new ESD to steal your own ships :) At end you can just say you were under undine influence.

Music is determined by where you (and more precisely your camera) are.

There is no lounge area currently. There are seating areas scattered everywhere.

    Where Club 47 is going:

Take a right out of the transporter. In that cylindrical room with a spiral walkway. There is a closed door on the platform halfway up the walkway. Behind that door is where the new club will go.

If your camera is near that door or through it, you will hear music. If not, you won't.

I agree that the new shipyards may be a little much. Everything else looks pretty solid.

A couple of suggestions, and a request:

    1. In the bank, you don't seem to actually have any visible place people might retrieve items. Now maybe they're beamed to their ship or something, but I think it might be good if you have like, a lit up panel on the desk and replicated stuff materializes in a transporter effect.... and then dematerializes after a time. So like people are beaming stuff out of storage.

Alternatively, have the big bank symbol actually be like, a panel that retracts, and behind it is a wall of safety deposit box-like containers. Then have the panel retract when someone gets up close to it.

    2. Love the shuttlebay. I was thinking if you have ground assets for any alien shuttles, you might do the occasional diplomatic procession disembarking.

    3. Please please please add the TNG shuttlebay depressurization alert klaxon, and have the red warning lights and the sound go off periodically when a shuttle flies out.

EDIT: Why does Ghemik Telur have a painting of what should be a highly classified mission? (ie: the interior of the Iconian Gateway Network from Sphere of Influence)

EDIT2: He has three of the same wallscroll in his changing rooms, and it looks really odd.

More suggestions will be appended as I think of them.

    1. Make the turbolift between the Tailor and the Armory accessible, and go down to that old foundry active lower deck you guys're never gonna change.

    2. The two guns at the top of the left hand side of the armory shelves- uh... I don't think they should be there. At least one is the 29th century phaser from the Lobi Store. Maybe switch out with some antiproton weapons?

    3. I'm assuming that work isn't finished in the armory, but for the manniquins at the back, sticking kits on them would give them a purpose.

Speaking of the Captain's Table...can something more be done with it?

It looks good, but not only does it not have a full set of facilities, there's no "extra".

I'm not looking for something unbalancing that will give players with access to it an advantage, but just something cool like a discussion-only mission (for nothing meaningful, maybe a small amount of GPL). Or a special doff mission that gives a bit more XP, CXP, a couple more dil (10 vs 5) or something. Hell, put a random chance for Kirk or Picard or Sisko* to appear in there, with a small voiceover possibility at some point. Just some random short story-time thing.

*Yes, I know, Sisko is with the prophets. But the Captain's Table transcends time, so it's entirely possible any visits are "left over" from when he was in charge of DS9.

Hell, put Tuvok in there from some period between being Janeway's second and an Admiral. He had to have commanded a ship (or a station or a desk) at some point. It seems like Tim Russ is always up for reprising the role, and he was dead-on in "A Step Between Stars".

Throw Captain Sulu or Captain Chekov in there...they always seem up for it too. I know none of these people personally, but the latter three certainly seem to love playing the characters enough that I wouldn't expect money to be a barrier.

And I haven't even delved into some of the wonderful actors who've played non-Starfleet captains.

But with ESD getting so much love, I think we need something special from the Captain's Table too.
