You've received a Priority One Communication from Starfleet Command. One of the most decorated and well known Admirals in the Fleet has announced his retirement, and his plans to board a private high-warp vessel to voyage into the unknown. Admiral BranFlakes has saved our Galaxy more times than any officer since the great James T. Kirk, and has single handedly improved our communications with dozens of new species and civilizations, as well as being a key driving force of our alliances with the Romulan Republic. His tireless work with the treaties existing between the Klingon Empire, the Dominion, and the Breen Confederacy have effected a lasting peace across our quadrants. Without his leadership, countless worlds across the Federation would be in a frightful state.

    God modding much Smirk?

Not that I would say anything less is acceptable for Brandon.

Well worth the wait. Good luck, BranFlakes!

Mine should be up in a couple minutes.

EDIT: Mine's up. Short and sweet, references BranFlakes's going above and beyond to help me when my computer wouldn't load the game on the first day of the Mirror event.

I'm going to need a few. I'll also need to pick my captain - probably Grunt again, but I suppose we could always hear from Sills or tr'Keiniadh...

Do you think it would be okay to do two entries in one post? I wanna do one with Tristian Matthews, but I wanna bring in my Gorn, G'jira (I know, uninspired) into the mix.

    Nice one.

Might do one for this one, might not. I'll need to find out.

Put mine up. Like Worffan, I've referenced my only direct contact with Branflakes. When he sent me the code to get Holo Leeta doff after Destination London convention.

Clearly, he has affected individuals in STO in more ways than may be known otherwise. That speaks a lot to his character as a person, which testifies to him eternally.

I recall sending a PM requesting to open up to older LCs to be contributed. My PM must have added to others because shortly afterward LC 40 was made. In turn, every tenth LC has become the "catch-up" challenge and that's just cool to me. I felt that PWE listened to *me*, if not *us*.

Just a little something, which is also a continuation of my collaboration with worffan101.

    Ael t'Kazanak - Cobie Smulders
    Three - Monica Martin

Nice one, Marcus. Given that it's set at ESD, I assume that this is in between your last scene and our protagonists actually departing to stop the Ha'ni?

Also, what Ael did there? Just made Three totally fall for her. Three likes aggressive women.

This is going to get interesting...

Squatsauce, utterly hilarious entry. Which reminds me--Tacofangs? Dev team? We need a giant statue of BranFlakes at Starfleet Academy. The KDF has a giant Klingon statue at their academy; why can't the Feds have a giant BranFlakes?

Thanks, and yes, immediately after/while Hammond and Fletcher beamed over to the Proteus... I thought that moment in time could be used to kill two birds with one stone  Hope you're okay with my casting choice, that's just how I imagine Three to look

Question before I try my hand at this LC:

What is Smirk's toon? Looking at the Livestreams it seems to be a Fed-aligned Romulan Alien, but I would like to know if it has a backstory.

Also, does BranFlakes' toon has a backstory?

Well, it's a great little entry and I think that Ael is REALLY going to regret trying sarcasm.

Sarcasm on Three tends to lead to...bad things. Again, psychosis.

Yeah, given that Three is 6'8" and has enough muscles to make the Terminator cry for mommy...not a bad casting choice, although honestly not quite built enough.

But given the limits of baseline humans, nice find.

Well, after the doors closed, she lost her lunch in the turbolift... That kind of situation touches a nerve for her, and she just tried to bluff her way out of it :D

I saw her on an episode of Miami Ink a few years ago, and the way she behaved towards the guys in the store, well, pretty similar to Three's approach :D (she seemed nice enough though  )

    Interesting.

If this ever comes up again, and Three realizes that her moves remind Ael of the Bernandez Incident...well, she LIKES Ael now, and considers her (Ael) to be beneficial to her (Three's) imprints, so she'd at least apologize.

    Huh. Interesting.

Three's a bad, bad person, but she's not going to move beyond offering herself up if the target of her seduction attempts isn't interested.

Next Three moment we need for the story (maybe in 2 or three chapters, perhaps more): Three and S'rR's in a mess hall, Three offers to give S'rR's oral *** if S'rR's gets her an "in" with Ael and Raban.

As the latter two walk in behind Three.

S'rR's trying not to throttle Three, Ael about to snap, and Raban being Extremely Cool with everything, and Three with nothing more to go on than the vague notion that she's f*cked up somehow...

I think that would be utterly hilarious in the same vein as "The Stepford Wives".

For the next chapter, should it be set on the Proteus, in slipstream? I want Three to give a presentation on the Ha'ni so that everyone's prepared.

Posting part 1 as we speak, I divided this into 2 parts, part 1 is more the sendoff for Branflakes and part 2 is more the subplot that happens because of the event (hint: UNDINE!) I wanted to give BranFlakes his appropriate sendoff without distracting with unnessessary action. Part 2 however...

I think that Grunt is my favorite character out of all the LC stars now.

Yes, I like Grunt more than my own characters. Got a problem with that?

Also, I write my characters. To them, I am god. :D

I've never had an interaction with BranFlakes, but respect the work he did and the way he came across in the forums. The positive posts from others who did have interactions with him prove he's a class act...and after reading his goodbye, I respect the decision he made for the reason he stated.

I'm choosing not to put in an entry this time as I feel just making something up wouldn't be genuine.

BranFlakes, if you're following this thread (you posted you won't be posting, but we don't know if you won't be reading...), I wish you the best in your future endeavours.

I'll get to mine in a bit-- lately I've been having some computer troubles that leave me wondering if there's dust in my laptop. Hopefully I'll get around to posting soon.

Incidentally, if at all possible, I'm going to see about organizing an in-game meeting among our LC characters at DS9 sometime this weekend on the channel worffan set up, CPU gods permitting.

Unfortunately, I'm going to be travelling this weekend, and may have limited Internet access. I'll probably be busy most of the next 2 weeks as well, and I'm still iffy on later in the month, but come May I'm wide open.

Make sure you give us plenty of advance notice for that meetup. Provided it's a workable time GMT, I'll turn up with Talaina. Probably best to post here when you decide what time.
