We are already extending it to the 7th: http://sto-forum.perfectworld.com/showthread.php?p=15926201#post15926201

    Cheers,

    Brandon =/\=

The 7th is good. :) I might complete the MI in time then, after all. :) (provided this outage doesn't take more than 4 days)

No worries :) As Trendy mentioned in that post, she'll have an official news piece about it on Friday -- she just wanted to give everyone in the forums a heads-up, though.

Great getting screwed by the french again :D

As the inimitable Al Bundy used to say: "It's wrong to be French!" :D

Seriously, though, not sure it really is France:

    http://www.geobytes.com/IpLocator.htm?GetLocation&IpAddress=130.117.14.193

    (which is te2-8.ccr01.ams05.atlas.cogentco.com [130.117.14.193])

according to that internetpulse link, things are improving, though around san Diego there are issues still if i read it right.

However i still cannot reach the patchserver. (btw im also from The Netherlands.. im starting to suspect that whole NSS thing going on here somehow being related or involved)

Anyway, i cant seem to reach or find a site that reports EU internet traffic.
The 1 site that does ..oddly enough cant be reached. (internettrafficreport)

Btw, I'm also from The Netherlands; and I highly doubt the NSS was involved; the NSA, maybe. :P But not the NSS.

is it because president Obama is here in the BeNeLux?

    according to : http://www.akamai.com/html/technology/dataviz2.html

That, basicly the entire internettraffic to the US is suffering from a 99.2% packetloss problem?

Origin city - amsterdam , target city.. well take your pick, i choose LA. (actually it seems specifically LA to be the problem across the board)

No idea if that is accurate though.

Well dunno about you but they can keep him in their own part of the globe, nothing but trouble for the local residents!

So when are the servers going to get fixed?

Well he is giving the UN total control of the Net. Soon we won't be able to play at all.

I dunno, maybe we'll read in the papers tomorrow, that there has been a massive DDOS aimed at our country today (Netherlands), because of the Nuclear Summit; but it still sounds a bit too tinfoily to me.

Dude? For the last time: the servers are fine. It's the cable to the US that someone messed up in holland or whereever...

Servers are running, it's NOT cryptics fault neither can they do anything about the net in europe...

Can't fix the servers. They're not broken. And Cryptic has no power to fix Internet pathing, especially on a different continent.

I get it isn't directly Cryptic's fault but that doesn't mean they can't notify the proper tech support, that is still their responsibility towards customers that can't utilize the product. Imagine someone sells you a car with only half an engine because the other half of the engine is being made by someone else and hasn't been provided yet... don't think it'd be a welcome source of news to the new owner now would it?

Well it's all we can ask for, I'm not blaming Cryptic, I'm blaming the muppets that are responsible for it. Just saying that Cryptic should at least sent a notice about it or something, which would be appreciated by people affected by the problem.

Which is why that DDOS attack notion of mine starts to sound more and more plausible. :) Really, big international summit, wouldn't be surprised if Anonymous had their hands in this.

    Possibly, except 1 problem.

If that was true you couldnt reach alot of things right now.
You sure as hell wouldnt be typing anything here.

My point is, its weird how only the cryptic server connection is affected, because i can reach anything else just fine.
