The concept is cool, a button and all my weapons and boffs instantly equp into the slots they're supposed to, all my boff powers stay in the trays like they're supposed to.
Used quick equip today and low and behold it cleared ALL my bars, not only the boff powers for the boffs it failed to load, it removed my Active Power console powers from the bar, it removed my Captain abilities from the bar, it turned ALL my weapons off autofire.
It screwed me up so bad I had to warp out of the instance I just started in.
So if to totally TRIBBLE up a player's setup if what the intention, then yes it "works as intended" otherwise it's broke as TRIBBLE. It does this when I switch ships even though each ship has a loadout assigned and saved.
Also I'm really really sick of having 4 or 5 non functional costume slots. I'm one of those affected by your FE Costume bug, btw, it was the FE that did it. they worked fine before that, and did not after that. I believe I switched costumes into my honor guard during the mission.
You all have jacked up alot and I do mean alot that has your old loyal players leaving STO, I will soon be another. Fix bugs before introducing more "Features" I mean BUGS!
I am very aggervated I will now have to spend hours resetting my bars, but why should I use your new "Loadout Feature (bug)" when it will just cost me more work?
Because nobody should use that feature (the loadout system). It is bugged since the day 1, if you do a search in the forums (something that people keep avoiding for unknown reasons)you will realize that a lot of people reported their bugs time ago, and since then, nothing. So, again yes, its bugged, but you should not be so angry, its the way cryptic works, you should get used to it and you will not have those headaches anymore
Same with all the other bugs. There is no place in cryptic to invest time fixing bugs, they need to keep focus of the new incoming season 9 and all the crappy new bugs that willl appear, that of course, will be never be solved, because again, they will need to focus on the next c-store sells, and so on. I wish i could find any other reasonable explanation for the lack of interest of cryptic in solving bugs, but i cant. So, the best we can do is to get used to it,and of course dont waste any money on the game!! thats the essential rule. If people keep complaining about bugs, but they keep buying from the cstore or buying monthly subscriptions or whatever, nothing will change. So, get used to it!!
The idea is to have in mind this is a free game, and as free, you need to eat all those bugs knowing they will never be fixed. So, if you have that in mind, the game can be even funnier and enjoyable. Everytime you find a bug (let's say once every 15 minutes..) , you need to think "well, at least im not paying any real money on this". And move on..
