Mirror Ha'nom: Not a Science Ship?

The Mirror Ha'nom does not appear to be a science ship, despite meeting all the qualifications (Cdr Sci, SA, SST). This may possibly extend to the regular Ha'nom as well, but I don't own one. For some reason it does not qualify as a Sci ship in Mirror Invasion and closes rifts at the TRIBBLE-slow rate that non-Science ships do.

It is technically a Warbird that has all the stuff of a science ship.

There is also the matter of the ship being a mirror ship closing rifts to the mirror universe.

Doesn't seem like other warbirds count as cruisers either. The Scimitar doesn't. I will try the DD and Ha'akona later but I doubt they will count either.

Haakona doesn't count as a Cruiser, either. The Aves does count as a Science Vessel, though.
This is an MMO, not a Star Trek episode simulator. That would make for a terrible game.

I believe OP meant "Science Vessel", as "Science Ship" isn't a named ship type in STO. However, the Ha'Nom IS a science ship(defined as a ship that specializes in science rather than a ship type, hence it's not capitalized), as it has a science focus, just as there are tactical Warbirds that have tactical focus and engineering Warbirds that have an engineering focus.

They also don't have any ships classified as cruisers or escorts. KDF don't have escorts either, and I think all of their cruisers are classified as battle cruisers.

And Flight-Deck Cruisers, or at least the Orion portion of the KDF.

Their science ships(from the Gorn portion) are all "Support Vessels" as well.

The Dyson ship does count as a science vessel in that fleet action and gets the faster rift closing.
