Modifying Alien Doff heads at Tailor

A few weeks ago, I decided to start playing with really customizing some of my Alien Doffs. Unfortunately I did run into a bug there. What I found was that for some reason some colors are 'fixed' to others. For example;
if I try to change the color of a tattoo/scar, then the primary colors of the eyes and organic head attachment also change.
Also, the colors for Overall Pattern, Eyes (secondary), and Head Attach Organic (secondary) are linked, making it impossible to change one without the others changing too.
Oddly enough this only applies to Alien Doffs, my Alien captains are not affected by this bug. The bug also does not affect my secondary account.

Anyone else familiar with this annoying little bug, or know of a way to solve it?

    Doff = duty officer
    Boff = bridge officer

    Colors being linked in the tailor customization has been a long standing problem that they can't seem to fix permanently.

    There is a workaround that usually unlinks the colors: press the randomize button a couple times. Unfortunately you'll have to reselect everything. You should only need to click the randomize button at the top for the head options. The head proportion sliders at the bottom half have their own randomize button and shouldn't be affected when clicking the top button.

    Edit: Sometimes uniform colors are still linked as well and the randomize button usually unlinks them.

    Quit right... but at least I'm consistent, yes? :o

    Looks like that has solved the issue. Ta. :)
    Though this does mean that I'm going to have to redo every single member of my all-alien crew one-by-one. :( Oh well, at least I'll have them the way I want.

    Thanks again. ;)
