"Mark as spam" - leaves mail still unread and unreadable

Recently I received a couple of in-game spam mails offering to sell me Energy Credits for cash. Two messages from the same sender. I selected the first and marked as spam, which put the sender on my ignore list. Now the second message has disappeared and I'm left with the mail icon constantly flashing as if I have something to check.

Anyone else see this happening? Should it disappear eventually?

    Oh. So that's why my mail icon has been flashing for the last week. That's what's happened to me, too.

    Yup i have the same problem. New mail flashing all the time in my 5 toons, and i dont have new mail at all. It is a known bug (well, what a surprise xD).

    I have the same green mail icon flashing, without any mail in my inbox. In my case not caused by deleting spam though... Just began at random. Logged out without any issue, next day when I logged in again, there it was. Merely a minor annoyance.

    Now, its a minor annoyance, but if it persist, it will become a really major annoyance. You are forced to keep checking your email cuz you dont know if you received new email...
