CXP Consultants not Working

On a few of my characters, I use the CXP Consultants to give me a boost. Unfortunately, they aren't working correctly.

Here is the scenario:

I have a +2% Consultant on duty as well as a bonus CXP booster token. As a test, I exchanged a green officer for 3 whites which normally rewards you with 50 Recruitment CXP. With the doff providing +2%, I should have gotten 1 additional CXP. The boost token gives +20% which in this case would have given me an extra 10 CXP. When I complete the recruitment assignment, I am given only 60 CXP instead of 61. (Hold on, I know what you are thinking, but stick with me)

I am given the 50 from the assignment and the 10 additional from the boost token, but I am not getting the 1 from the CXP DOFF. I even went and checked my CXP total before hand and after completing the mission - it only increased by 60 and not 61.

I know some of you may be thinking "It's 1 CXP point! Come on!" In this case it is, but in many other cases that additional 2% can add up over time. I am big on earning CXP so I like to use the boosts and a DOFF when I get hold of one.

Some of these numbers may be small, but the fact remains the DOFF is not working correctly. I did do a search and found an old thread where someone was having a similar issue. It was several months old so I started a new one. I am also filing a bug ticket as well.

Anyone else having this issue?

Notes: My bug report ticket number is 2357115.
No, I am not who you think I am. I am someone different. I am instead a banana.

    Here's your explanation:
Hey guys. Sorry that it's taken until page 4 to get an answer on this, but I finally have a good explanation as to why these Doffs aren't functional.

I will spare you the details of the inner workings (it's code/server/transaction-related, and I don't completely understand it), but suffice it to say: We don't currently have the technology to make this Doff function.

In fact, a little investigation shows that we have never had the capability of making this Doff work, and that attempts were made prior to the release of the Fleet Reinforcements Duty Officer Pack to remove them from the rewardtables. Clearly, those efforts were not 100% successful, and a few of these Fleet Credit Consultants slipped through.

Now, we could potentially spend several hours, or even days, coming up with a way to update how this particular transaction is executed on the server in an effort to make these Doffs work, but that's not really worth our time and effort for such an incredibly rare Officer (there are literally two in the database, out of the >83,000 individual types of doffs that players possess).

So as an alternative, we're planning to change this Doff's functionality so that it does something else. Something that actually works.

Our initial plan is to change it into a Fleet Mark Bonus Doff - rewarding 1 or 2 extra Fleet Marks every single time you are granted them as a Reward. Since this is not what the Doff originally said it would do, I figured I'd pitch that here before we move forward, and make sure it'd be seen as an adequate fix for this broken Doff.

If we did the above, we would also create FED versions of these extremely rare Doffs. They were not intended to be a KDF exclusive.

Edit: I just realized you were talking about CXP, not fleet marks. So here, your explanation isn't. :)
You're right. The work here is very important.

You so silly, Jeff. Still, thank you for trying to find a solution for me.
