Assignment "Respond to subordinate's challenge" bugged

I have this romulan-klingon assignment stucked in "finishing" since hours ago. I cant even cancel it. It says "failed to cancel assignment blah blah".

Tried to exit the game and login again, same result.

Please fix it , im afraid i lost the blue doff i had in it. Sigh.

    Hi, i guess nobody had these sort of problems??? im stucked with that damn assignment all the time in my progress list. ITs really annoying, no ideas how to get rid of it?

    This sort of thing has happened to me on occasion for at least as long as I've been playing. In fact I've had it happen at least a couple times in the last week. For me changing maps fixes it. Just change instance or beam to your ship. If that doesn't work, I don't know what else to try. :(

    BUMP! Got the same bug on my klingon. The doff's name is Lorse (botanist) -blue quality-. Might be a problem with the Lorse doff itself, since Ive done this mission with other boffs and it completed.

    Pls help!

    Well, eventually it was fixed automatically (after 5 days..). So the only thing you can do is to wait...

    It fixed itself for me after about 24h! :)

    I have this DOFF mission bugged on 5 different toons, one of which is -297h -46m -26s overdue so if you think switching maps, waiting 24 hours, or thinking it will finish on your own, think again. In case your math is a little rusty, it's been 12 days and still this mission hasn't completed. I've received a reply to my customer support ticket and here it is:



    So basically means they aren't the ones to fix it, they obviously are outsourcing it to India or China or somewhere else to fix it which will take probably never to fix. You would think they could just go into the game under my account and just finish it for me just like any other MMO that I've ever played before, but I guess these guys have no clue what they are doing so they have to outsource it. Anyway, if you are having the same issue, good luck. It's not getting fixed anytime soon. I'm still waiting after 12 days.

    There is a fix which went live with Thursday's update. If for some reason that did not work for your character, it may take a few minutes after logging in, please post your character's name@handle.

    The fix worked, thank you, but now when you login, the doff missions aren't automatically completed. It takes about 5 seconds for each mission to complete, but that's better then the alternative.
