The Tailor: Issue with Deleting Saved Uniforms

Location: Holodeck - Earth Space Dock
Faction: Federation
Species: Vulcan
Career: Engineering
Gender: Female

Date: 03.07.2014

When I go to delete older saved uniforms, within the tailor, the game prevents me from carrying out such action. I can delete uniforms that are recently saved. Once a uniform stays within the library for a period of time, the ability to delete them becomes rather problematic.

    Here is a workaround.

    1. Go to the directory

    <install_dir>\Star Trek Online\Live\screenshots

where <install_dir> is the directory where you installed the game.

    2. The names of the saved costume files begin with "Costume_". It might take a while to find the file you want to delete though.

There is a side effect of deleting the saved costumes from the screenshot folder. See my post here from November http://sto-forum.perfectworld.com/showthread.php?t=919951

After deleting the screenshots from the STO screenshot folder, any costume slots you had loaded saved outfits on can't be renamed. You end up with an invalid parts error message and the only way to fix it is to purchase a small change, such as changing 1 color, then making another purchase to change it back. It will do this for every costume slot on every character that you had loaded saved costumes on.

I've never run into this issue, and I delete and rename costume files in the screenshots folder fairly often. I also just tried to reproduce your bug and could not.

Are you sure there isn't some other cause? For example, if the tailor had a bug when you saved a costume file and you later loaded that bugged costume file, it might mess up one of your slots.
