Reminds me of one of those type the text in here things..

He has it right. it is supposed to be atng font, mind you I mixed letters and numbers. Too much confusion= an edit. Thanks. Romulus wont blowup in mine because Taris isnt as much of a baddie. Can't decide what the mirror I conians are supposed to be doing, maybe the prime Iconians are travelling to the mirror universe through subspace I dunno.
A TIME TO SEARCH: ENTER MY FOUNDRY MISSION at the RISA SYSTEM Parallels: my second mission for Fed aligned Romulans.
I'm running into a problem that's driving me crazy. Every time I test my mission and start firing on an enemy ship, the ship simply vanishes and disappears. Is this a bug limited to the Foundry that goes away during regular play once the mission's published? If not, how do you get around it?

I ran into that problem during previewing, still do. If you're close enough to center of the map (which is where I think they gravitate to when they bug) then you may still be able to select it, and if you can select it, you can destroy the target with the debugging tools.
Was very useful for me.
As I understand the issue, it goes away after publish.
Is anyone else having trouble with the Foundry? Whenever I try to load my mission in the Editor I'm getting kicked out with a message about "Dynamic Patch Failure".
On the rare occasion I get in, I can't save changes. Something about the connection timing out.
First, I love these challenges and hope that we continue doing them.
That said, second, this particular challenge has illustrated the foundry limitations and the love this foundry needs.
I am particularly frustrated by the frequent disconnects. I get disconnected every few minutes (the latest one is "patch error"). No, it is not my system or my internet connection.
Third, to slap that dead horse one more time, there are a ton of assets and sector triggers missing. Foundry just has not kept up with the various released "Seasons".
Anyway, love the challenges, still very much a STO addict and wish everyone the best.

I should be able to finish in time. As of yesterday I have 3 maps left to lay down objectives and copy in the dialogue. Still have to go back and finish fleshing out one or two other maps, but should be ok.
I think, I just may have solved the biggest issue I thought I had for this challenge.
*Decided how i wanted it to end. ( got inspiration from a Star trek The Next Generation Episode.)
also for plot line took little from a DS9 episode that had the Klingons and Worf attack a ship yard (*or was it something else can't remember... but whatever it blew up.)
I hope that you all enjoy playing it.
Wish everyone else good luck and hope you all enjoyed this challenge.
I was wondering, and I'm fairly confident I know the answer, will players have to "become reviewer" to play the context entry missions? Not all them will necessarily have the five requisite plays right away.
Yeah the quicker we can get them out of review and qualifying for rewards, the more participation we'll get in voting. There is also the inevitable Season 9 downtime to consider.
BTW, don't vote for me. I have two spotlights and don't need any more. I just like these challenges and wanted to participate for fun
To send a Forum PM, does one have to have Arc Client installed? I haven't been able to figure out how to do it. Possibly a bit dumb of me, but I don't use the forums that much. I just want to clarify for voting purposes.
Almost played through all the missions. Have thoroughly enjoyed myself, even missions that I had issues with, and am looking forward to finishing my playthroughs so I can cast my vote.

In my one, Mirror Romulus has already gone boom.
Parallels: my second mission for Fed aligned Romulans.
I'm with you there, I have no idea what it says on second and third glance. Is that last character a 3, 5 or an S?

Parallels: my second mission for Fed aligned Romulans.
I've linked everything together regarding the mission's mechanics, now just dialog to finish up.
I'm looking forward to playing the other entries, these contests always put out a good variety of spins on the prompt.
got dialog to edit, combat to edit, plot to edit (what little I was able to mash together.)
Wasn't able to get the story to work the way I had hoped to.
Made a view screen. It doesn't work like I had hoped.
The dialog screen blocked the view, so I cut back on what I was going to try doing with it.
Got the "ending" to where everyone will either hate it... or go ""
It's mostly because I'm not really sure what to do with the ending...
I was able to keep it restricted to any character level.
Not sure what name I'll go with.
That'll go away when the mission is published.

Same thing is happening here.

I'm fairly confident. Just some dialog to finish and then spruce up some maps if there is the time, then its done.

Oh I didn't really think of that.
I'm looking forward to the other players' missions. There have been so many different takes on the concept.
