    Hangar - X only
    Lance - X only
    Cannons - X only
    Boffs - Ens. Engi (R) vs Ens. Uni (X)
    Comm Arrays - 4 (R) vs 2 (X)

    So what's the point of Gal-R in its current state while Gal-X is equal or superior in nearly EVERY regard, aside from having two comm array powers less?

    High point: people got the extra tac console they wanted, saucer/AM spread set bonus is nice, saucer separation animation cleanup is nice.
    Low point: putting an hangar is still not a fix for the things people are actually enthused about with this ship and pretty much nothing that was wished for the Galaxy Retrofit was done (and, tbh, the Galaxy-R is what most Galaxy fans really care about).

    ...basically making it so that the only thing I really care about regarding this whole reboot thing is that the Odyssey set will help turn better now.

    "Details subject to change" is kind of the safety net here for Cryptic, if they actually do decide to effect some last minute changes they still haven't told us about.

    Sure they are. We've all heard that one before.

    Well it looks like Cryptic is pushing ahead with this poor excuse of a "revamp" as is, disregarding any and all player feedback. At the very least, it should've been given a Lt Commander Universal (to match the Scimitar), but you couldn't even muster to change that. Sorry guys, not getting a dime out of me. You continue to ignore player feedback despite dozens of pages of comments. Biting the hand that feeds you, is not a good business practice.

    I ask this with ALL due respect Captain Smirk,

    Has ANY of the threads concerning the Gal R/X been taken under consideration?

    There are countless pages of the STO/Gal R/X lovers begging for something that would please the masses. This obviously includes myself again I ask with all due respect.

    The little note on the bottom that details are subject to change are something that gives me lil hope that I have left but with 2 days remaining it gets slimmer and slimmer especially since you've released the blog.

    Here's hoping..

    That was later on when the ship failed to sell despite feedback telling them beforehand why. The told you so was huge on that one, but they never learn... ;)

    I'm underwhelmed, I would need at least 4 Tactical abilities, should have made the Lt Eng universal.

    I would have even accepted them making the Ensign Tactical an Ensign Eng, but alas, I've now lost interest.

    Still don't care. Still getting it. Cry all you want, I don't bother with PVP and I'm pretty sure most of the people in the game don't care either.

    Please note that the Dred-Not includes :
    Can Equip Dual Cannons

    But due to the Boff layout , don't bother .
    NOTE: Details are subject to change.

    Somehow ... due to the "bunker mentality" displayed ... I highly doubt that .
