Thank you, I often find my inventory full after just a few missions.
I'm just wondering why the extra storage?
I ask because I have been in games (Namely DDO) where after the introduction of their crafting system about 2 years ago, the game became unplayable due to the gross lack of free storage and the addition of too many crafting materials. Which is one of the reasons I left DDO.
I think it's merely to make up for the overuse of Pets, figures and Ship-crates being added to the game these days... Nothing more nothing less.
Also, I am still convinced there is some kind of catch, that just isn't apparent yet.
We're giving everyone new slots and slapping a hidden fee on that you can't see! Every day you have items in these slots will cause the game to drain 50% of your dilithium and EC!

In any case, Thank you.
Maybe STO learned from DDO? Sto has also added a lot of stuff you suddenly need over time, and it got messy.
The game started with the 4 ground and 4 space batteries/cells and the commodities, anomaly data, plus all the usual space and ground gear. Then it introduced the regenerators and their space equivalent.
Then we got rare anomaly data.
Then we got the hydrogen fuel consumables and some other special consumables.
Then we got schematas (Not sure if anyone still uses them, who crafts anyway, right?)
Then Pets.
Then Lockboxes.
Then the DOFF special commodities.
Then reputation special items.
And in between also Holiday special items and all that.
I am not sure if they just wanted to be nice to give this to us, or they als did it because the inventory limits also meant that people did just not pursue certain activities because t heir inventory would explode.
I suspect it was enabled also by better hardware and software optimizations that made it easier to handle the extra data.
Star Trek Online Advancement: You start with lowbie gear, you end with Lobi gear.

Something like that, yes...
Don't look silly... Don't call it the "Z-Store/Zen Store"...
What extra space are you all talking about? I didn't get a thing.
It comes with today's patch - as per the Patch Notes and thread about it in the News section.
STO is about my Liberated Borg Federation Captain with his Breen 1st Officer, Jem'Hadar Tactical Officer, Liberated Borg Engineering Officer, Android Ops Officer, Photonic Science Officer, Gorn Science Officer, and Reman Medical Officer jumping into their Jem'Hadar Carrier and flying off to do missions for the new Romulan Empire. But for some players allowing a T5 Connie to be used breaks the canon in the game.

A good idea to increase storage because of that, really.
Release notes and news are your friend.
Thanks heading my way there to read the notes
