"KDF captains cannot switch to all costume slots." ...again and again.

"KDF captains cannot switch to all costume slots." ...again and again.. for what, the third month now?

Half of the slots I paid for are useless. Many others have the same issue. It if far from a few isolated cases.

Is this going to be the same as the Marauder BOff costume bug that has endured for at least 2 years without address?

I can only assume that Cryptic has chosen to ignore these issues or is incapable of addressing and rectifying them.

I realize you're very busy 'developing' new ways to break stuff and force everlasting grinds but can't you at least delete the costumes in the affected slots so we can create new costumes ? Reset those slots as it were ? Or allow us the option to delete a uniform slot thus reclaiming it as a new virgin slot as new costume slots seem to work fine?

Being able to delete costumes would be really useful. There used to be a function like this, but for some reason it was removed.

At least they keep the information in the known issues list. That means that they are working on it.
There are a lot of bugs that are not in that list. Think, for example, of the black rooms in the first Fek'Ihri mission. That has been there at least 2 years (when I started playing). Cryptic knows it is there, since everybody and their mother reported this bug. But still no fix.

That is is there, means that the team is working on a fix. Don't worry about it, it'll only take until Season 9 until this finally gets fixed.

The DELETE button would be appreciated though.

At this point.. I can't help but wonder if it is being put off/delayed because of something they're doing with the next expansion.. I'm also curious if that's related to the Cardassian Orbital Platforms going all borg-mode and Mirror Universe mob name issues.

Think of it this way: If everything worked KDF side, what would you guys have to complain about, except each other?
Don't look silly... Don't call it the "Z-Store/Zen Store"...
Let me put the rumors to rest: it's definitely still the C-Store (Cryptic Store) It just takes ZEN.

So it's actually a service to the community to have stuff like the K't'inga model that has been broken since early 2011...

I'm fairly sure the problem is unfixable, but they cant admit that without causing a rather big uproar.

This is my suspicion also.

There are a number of kdf tailor related issues and they keep growing

Aside from what I mentioned in the op -

Saving/loading character configuration issue where trying to load a saved outfit results in loading a random default alien

Gorn tailor broken since season 7, where any gorn created cant be physically much larger than a large 'alien'.. pre-season 7 gorn had exclusive attributes which allowed them to be much larger

Omega Rep Honor Guard costume issue(s) - After season 7, the 'elite commander' honor guard set (open-cleavage female variant) which is normally accessed by acquiring the tier V mk XII ground set and completing the elite stf optional objectives, apparently cant be unlocked. the system files are there, but are not accessible via the tailor. This issue includes a number of other outfit pieces which also no longer appear in the tailor including cape, shoulder pads, boots, etc.. any toon which unlocked this costume before season 7 still has access to it.

So to try and stop that anger they... keep including references to the bug in every set of patch notes. Right.

You haven't lost the slots, just the outfits that were in them, for whatever reason the game suddenly decides you only have the default outfit slot, breaks all of your additional outfits, and then gives you back those slots as empty slots to reuse.

I have 8 or 9 broken outfits across 3 KDF/ROM alts, I can recreate them easy enough as the costume slots are still available, but what's the point when I know they are just going to break again.

That happens on the fed side as well, it's to do with non-default content being on the character when you saved it, basically anything you have unlocked either from the c-store or during game play (ie yesterdays enterprise outfit) will cause this.

At least you guys get a mention in the known issues section. Those of us with the simple/missing textures bug since the launch of S8 don't even get that.

    .

About half of my 10 slots are completely frozen, They cannot be modified in tailor or accessed from the change outfit tag.

The general intelligence level of the Fed playerbase of course.

That's a ridiculous assumption - if true, why would they include it as a known issue?

    Yup.

I'm sure it's fixable, but it certainly appears to be a big job. To me, the worst-case scenario would be for the problem to be fixed, but the affected players to lose their saved outfits and have to start from scratch. Not ideal, but I could live with it.
You're right. The work here is very important.

Worst case would be more like the problem is fixed but all the saved outfits are lost along with any costume unlocks used in the affected slots.

Yeah, this is the most likely scenario, with the bug reappearing with the following season patch.

We may have to execute all the tailors, like what happened to the transporter officer. :P

I've always suspected that they removed the cleavage armor option becasue it was too sexual or something and they didn't want too mention it because they knew it would TRIBBLE off the players. Except that the Orion's still have their bikini's and we recently saw the release of the Khan outfit which has even more cleavage on female avatars.

I just wnt to point out that my Fed toon has the issue as well. On both, KDF and Fed toons, costumes that were created with pre-rep-grind STF sets are undeletable/unchangeable.

The LoR Tailor has been buggy as an ant farm from it's inception. I still much prefer the old one.

I had 8 costume slots bought and paid for. every since LoR only 3 have been usable the others are still there I can still see them just cant use any other than 3. so everything I have prior to LoR has been broken since it came.

I know it can be frustrating to see your bug not get fixed after a few patches but hold up a bit longer. The dev team is at least acknowledging the bug and it seems to be in their cross-hairs. It'll be fixed before your know it! :)
