I think the servers need some magnesium citrate. That will make 'em go.
What a hell of a week. I was feeling ill so I had to go to the emergency room Monday. I had a fever of 101.6, constipation, and it turned out I had the flu.
I felt like I was run over by a stampede of targs.
The doc prescribed some tylenol, cough syrup, and stuff and I bought some magnesium citrate, cherry flavor, at the pharmacy (it was over the counter only, but it was just over $2). That stuff tasted bitter but it worked wonders.
I was able to log in each day for all the free stuff but haven't been able to play the game. I feel better and was ready to play today but the servers are down. I was just checking out the forums before starting the patch download for the game and came across this thread.
I don't know who was more full of it. Me or Cryptic.
Edit: I'm still hacking up phlegm and sitting here sweating. No, not because I can't play the game. The humidity is high today.
Absolutely not, I've been playing since beta and this is the third of fourth time the servers crashed.
What alternate universe are you playing in, and how do the rest of us get there? I've been playing since the 2nd Anniversary event, and seen far more crashes than that.
a foe more inescapable than the borg? more ferocious and cunning than the most ardent Hirogen hunting party? more ineffable than the iconians?.....that's right its the Down Servers, every one of their attacks are a crit no matter what zone your in and their success rate is 100% fatality, including themselves.
Why is it that while Cryptic and PWE always deny that STO and Neverwinter are on the same server,
every time the STO server is down, the Neverwinter server is down also?
How about this idea: Separate the servers.
Then see if our long loading times and server reliability issues improve?
Relax people.. Geez. They finally give us something we've been wanting for years and it looks more like a shallow pool of piranha while they tailor the update.
