singularity core ships that dont have a TAC com just dont work that well. the other 2 COM station types do not get anything out of the singularity powers, due to the weapons they use or style of damage dealing, or they get more out of power levels then they would out of a cloak and sing powers. more warbird cruisers and sci ships would just end up sucking too.
a c store version, with say a universal LT and 4th tac console, that would be about on par with a dhlean, and has the option of running as a sci ship. these free ones, i think they may be over hybridized to the point of dysfunction. theres just to many similar alternatives that can do as well or beter
Well unless your a klingon science player... in which case you are jumping for joy, even for the 9 console version. (seeing as most of them fly bops with only 9 anyway) lol

im only talking about warbirds. but ya the kdf alternative to this ship is that gorn pos stat clone of the the most ho huh sci ship, with a nerfed shield mod.

yeah the 4 tac console version will be nice but 3 tac consoles aren't bad. My science vesta is one of my favorite science ships and it does well in pve and pvp. I don't think i'll be doing much with the fed version though. Not because it sucks but because I have way too many fed science ships and most are good.
My KDF sci and Romulan sci will love their ships though just because the alternatives are mostly meh.

One thing that has me thinking. Do you think they'll be making more "transforming" ships? What about separating ships like the MVAE and Haakona?
