Somehow I don't have enough skill points to advance to the next level after "the cavalry" (really glad that's fixed by the way!) So I'm replaying a step between stars and once I deactivate the station and make a rum for the safe zone I never go past the room with all the solar flares and blaring sirens. I can't get in that door and I have to go around the other way. that makes me sad because the only reason I replayed THIS mission is because of that room! Its my favourite part in the mission. Anyone else having this problem right now? This happened on my fed and romulan character, replaying it as a romulan. First time worked okay.
Do not make another EV suit mission.
This is absolutely the WORST part of STO, and almost makes me throw my laptop. I've done it twice, and the mission was enjoyable up until the EV suit, and then it just became a giant exercise in frustration as I watch my character uncontrollably start flying AWAY from my intended destination.
I know you guys were trying to add something to the game, the feeling of spacewalking, and trying to be realistic, but, come on, we were already in a star, where we should be vaporizing and plummeting towards its center,so realism is already out the window.
Just, please, don't do that again. I almost quit both times. And what should have taken 5 minutes of game play took over an hour both times. And it was NOT enjoyable. I do NOT want to do this ever again, and probably will completely avoid this mission in the future, even if it means not getting to finish that story arc on my other characters.
