KHAN! outfit suggestions

So far, i love the Khan outfit, but there are two small issues

1) Please make the Infected complexion full body. My liberated Borg characters would look AWESOME in this costume and it's pieces, but the way the skins end at the neck make it look awkward. A lot of people paid a lot of money for the life time subscriptions, so it would be nice if they could use all of the open uniforms.

2) Please Please PLEASE, open this uniform up for all costumes. There are sooooo many good options here that would look great on so many other costumes. The helmet would look great for desert or arctic costumes, the wrist attachment goes great with the Seven of Nine hand, the boots would be spectacular for a lot of Klingon costumes as would the gloves. Even the Botany bay undershirt would be great. This costume has so many great pieces that would go so well in other outfits, and it's a shame to lock them down to off duty. Please open them up for normal uniforms as well.

I think the broken starfleet necklace is really cool, I think its like my favorite part of the costume. It be cool if that was up as a uniform option, wear that around my neck, being like "yeah, this is how long I have been in starfleet"

Hey, they need to start somewhere. Besides, adding a costume to more catagories would be a lot easier than going through each costume to find why they're all bugging so bad, but yes, it would be nice if they could fix those as well

+1 to this Request. The head wrap would look SO amazing if I could wear it with my KDF uniforms, but sadly I'm forced to use it with the limited Off-duty pieces. This makes me incredibly sad, as the cover also doubles as some sort of pseudo protection. I just recently did Nimbus III's questline in my newest character and he rocked the head cover throughout and it fit so well, but being forced to use Off-Duty outfits with it sucked.

I'd also love it if the tattered top was optional, so we could just wear the Botany Bay shirt.

I get that it's free and all, but in regards to Khan's regalia, why the bloody blue blazes would you make such a beautiful highly detailed and customizable outfit OFF DUTY ONLY!?!?!?

Not only does this mean we can't use it on bridge officers, but we can't pair it with any other outfits, and it can't be used on Klingon characters, or Klingon aligned Romulans!!! I love the Khan outfit, it's the most lovingly crafted, highly detailed, and lore accurate costume in the entire game. (and I don't say that lightly)

    I ask of you, I beg of you, I implore of you, I plead of you, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaase make this outfit all uniform compatible? ;w;

The KDF and Romulans aren't ready for Ricardo Montalban's beautiful chest. The lack of such a chest in Star Trek Into Darkness is J.J. Abrams' greatest sin.

It worked fine for my KDF characters, though they're listed under the 'bare chest' category as opposed to 'jacket loose' or one of the other clothing types. Looked pretty amusing on my Gorn.

Or are you saying that your KDF and KDF-Roms can't access off-duty uniforms at all? In that case, you might want to check again. All factions got access to off-duty uniforms at the same time they launched last year's Summer event.

problem is, you can't put it on your crew. Just like the mercenary outfit. Bought it so one of my KDF crews could all look like mercs. Instead only my Captain can look like a Merc, makes me a sad boy.

Oh yeah, don't get me wrong, I'm all in favor of abolishing the distinctions between uniform types, but I'm not confident we're going to see that any time soon. The amount of work they spent enabling off-duty for KDF (as opposed to just running a database script to replicate all those parts into "uniform" - and in the process fixing the KDF Renegade Boff issue) leads me to believe that someone on the dev team is really wedded to the idea of limiting player costume combinations.

(That and the amount of time they've spent repeatedly nerfing the console commands to shut down players making mix-and-match costumes...)

We all know the answer to that, don't we? The PWE and the developers want people to start getting into the habit of using Arc before they pull the plug once and for all on the old standalone launcher (which I'm guessing will happen when they roll out the next expansion pack later this year).

It requires Arc, because it's a 'THANK YOU" for using the Arc Beta client, and testing it for them ... 'Coz you know it's a FREE GIFT!

And has anyone thought that maybe there is an IP conflict reason that it's "Off-Duty" and not a uniform? Maybe Paramount said 'noooooo' to having hundreds of Ricardo Montalban clones running around ESD or Qo'nos ... Just sayin' maybe ...

Though it's still gonna' be sickening seeing KHAANNNN!!! repeated over and over in the zone chat window for the next several days

And yet, we have hundreds of Ricardo Montalban clones running around ESD. Just like someone said "we want ESD space to be primarily Federation ships", then come Winter Event 2012 we get the second coming of the Breen invasion...

Those who ignore history and all that...

    YET

Due to this "ridiculous" off-duty restriction, I can't have my BOffs (that could, like my Borg Engies off the C-Store) join me on the Dyson Battleground or Mol'Rihan looking like the Tuffli I fly just left Ceti Alpha V...

Yes, my Tuffli has been the SS Botany Bay since, well, they released the SS option... :)
Detecting big-time "anti-old-school" bias here. NX? Lobi. TOS/TMP Connie? Super-promotion-box. (aka the two hardest ways to get ships) Excelsior & all 3 TNG "big hero" ships? C-Store. Please Equalize...

A better question - why have an "off duty" outfit division at all? (I want mercenary bandoliers and grenade belts on my tactical BOffs - that's the only reason I bought the outfit in the first place. )

My Gorn looks positively ruthless in his Khan attire. That chest tunic really highlights his reptilian nature.

My Catian looks pretty ferocious too. That said, I'd wish they'd go back and add the Khan hair for Catians. It is practically a mane and should look great on them.

The Khan hair is spectacular on an Andorian male. My dude has never looked better.

Finally, the torn undershirt might seem useless, but just try changing the second color to reveal a nice little surprise.

I support this motion. This outfit should also have been available as a normal uniform. Or at least pieces of it.

    Currently only the hair is.

Its a gorgeous uniform so such a shame they made it off duty alone. That immediately relegates it to the bin for me. The accessories would have been great to use on my BOFF's.
