"The Long Night" Klingon mission bug.

As I have over 300 hours logged in STO, I am only on my 2nd Klingon character and this bug also showed up in the 1st Klingon character that I did the mission on.
Bug:
In the mission "The Long Night", once inside Empok Nor, I am able to shoot and "kill" my Away Team.

I am not sure how it is happening but I believe that the mechanic that labels the enemies as enemies is somehow messed up so that it labels those enemies as non-combative so they can't be shot.

I have a video of the incident: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q9JJrYErnkI

As you can see, after killing all of the enemies in the room, I am able to target my Away Team and "kill" them or knock them unconscious. This bug is not one that is minor as it can make new players confused and cause mission progress problems.

This is not actually a bug, but rather a debuff effect for several rooms within the station. The effect (not sure what exactly the debuff is off the top of my head) is a confuse similar in function to the space sci power "Scramble sensors" in that enemies are labelled as allies and allies are marked as enemies. To remove the effect, there should be a console somewhere within the vicinity that has an interact button that says something along the lines of "Cycle Ventilation System." I do believe (after six playthroughs of the mission across all three factions) that there is a Bridge Officer dialog box that hints that there may be something unusual without giving exact details.

A way to work around this is to have your bridge officers hold position before they enter the room (so they won't shoot at each other given that the debuff affects them as well), wait until most or all of the enemies are dead from shooting at themselves (yes, they are affected as well), hit the console, then have your officers regroup with you and move on.

    Hope this helps!

Well, I do believe that makes a lot of sense. Thanks for clearing this up so quickly. I had no idea that this happened on purpose because it happened every time I play this mission leading me to believe it was a bug. Thanks again.
