That means we can charge them more money for releasing ship models that have been in since launch right? Next year, we'll put them out as the RE-Dine, before successfully bringing them back to Undine, like coke classic!"
I'm curious to see what it will be though, i've got a nice supply of lobi, but there really isn't anything that i would want other than the Adapted ships. I do like that they also release consoles, clothing, and weapons as well, but the upgrade packs can be pricey.
Im betting its going to be a delta quadrant lockbox. Itll tie into the release of the Voth zone in the sphere, which will have a mission or event where you have to gain access to the door that was said to be in that zone, and gain access to delta quadrant space and the next season that way.
And on a side-note, I for one miss the old days of STOked and their Tweet Leaks and other teases found within the game and throughout the web. It's not like we know all this for sure or we know all the stats etc. And all the speculations are fun as well, at least in this case.
Please keep Undine ships as enemy faction ships. I think they are buffed so they can be closer to their power we saw in the tv show. Those are ships that even borg couldn't assimilate, so it wouldn't feel right if federation will be able to adapt it to have warp core power source and other consoles that will be half organic so they can fit in.

Well, I for one am happy about these sneak peeks you provided. Kept things interesting. And I do like how they've done the Apex Battleship, looks nice.
Are people really that excited about Hirogen lock box? After Timeship, JHAS, Galor, D'akora, Romulan, Elachi, Voth ... etc, etc.
I hope I never understand the madness that compels people to gamble away their precious money on this TRIBBLE.
"With the first link, the chain is forged. The first speech censored, the first thought forbidden, the first freedom denied, chains us all irrevocably."
I'm moreso curious as to whether there will be things like electrified nets and cloaking devices the Hirogen use in ground combat. They weren't a particularly amazing space-faring race, but they were good predator-style hunters and warriors.
As for the old designs, the Apex was literally a 'Generic Alien' battleship encounter you can use in the foundry. Their Dreanought is (on holodeck at least) some kind of hybrid-Vo'Quv abomination. I believe the Hirogen are the only existing faction that doesn't/didn't have a completely unique ship/modeled roster.

Sounds like a nifty ground set.
I'd also love to see piercing tetryon weapons return as competetive mk 12 lock box weapons

You might. I may be wrong, but when I've checked Hirogens on Tribble their Tetryon weapon wasn't blue like normal, but more white or green-ish (I'm poor with colours, bare with me). Some kind of hybrid weapon is very much a possibility.

Didn't say I'd get it. Just said that they did a nice job with it, it looks exactly like the one from Voyager unlike the old one that looked like......well...something.
Well.. there hasn't been a Tetryon-Disruptor hybrid type yet to my knowledge...
Granted, Cryptic has been a bit more creative with their lockbox weapons as of late, so it may be something entirely new.
I for one would appreciate more ground items this time. Some new ground set, perhaps a Kit pack of some sorts (one for each profession), and new weapons with their own unique models and firing effects (like voth or nanite-disruptor)...
But I guess I'm in the minority. It's always been about the ships in the first place.

As someone who uses Phased Tetryon on a Regent... I wouldn't mind seeing some new Tetryon weapons. I would also like to see the new ground gear, as I'm one of those mutants who actually enjoys ground combat as well.
I can't take it anymore! Could everyone just chill out for two seconds before something CRAZY happens again?!

The only thing I've heard from the 'rumor mill' is Hirogen.
Instead, it's called the Adapted Undine Box.

I would love to get a Branflakes or Tac-O's Cereal (Lock)Box as an April fool's day gag... just saying.
I think Hunter Escort got a new model as well, but it's so small and bland I somehow doubt it would be given as a playable ship.
Speculation dear boy, speculation *Posh British accent*
Aren't the Undy... Undino... Species 8472 ships being updated as well?
No proof yet

suaveks, you're killing Cryptic today. :P
That is pretty convincing...
Hopefully it has a good console, or I am not buying any of the keys. I hate those ships, and the entire warrior culture of that species
