I lol'd when I found out how outrageously OP Romulans were for damage dealing.
I lol'd when they posted Naz's guest blog at just about the same time that most of us Pandas gave up on STO PvP (at least temporarily, though I feel it may be permanent in my case. I can't afford to keep up and don't have the time nor the desire to grind).
Finally, I lol'd the first time I head-shotted an Atlas with a Thunderbolt.

Congrats. That is pretty rare thing to happen, don't think I've ever had it either. It's basically the PvP equal of getting a bug ship.
I remain empathetic to the concerns of my community, but do me a favor and lay off the god damn name calling and petty remarks. It will get you nowhere.

It was P2, but was it W? I remember when it launched, Tactical Team was useless. Anyone still remember those times, when TT was a bad joke and even 2 ensign tacts where basically useless?
Whatever it is, it is a hero ship.

Vaping half a team in a couple shots with my Guramba Death Star Laser.
And then getting the whole enemy team to fire at me.

Yesterday I had a hilarious encounter in Ker'rat. I was flying with a good friend, with a rather new character (no rep/fleet stuff) in my Defiant Retrofit, doing a bit of farming and having good fights with the klinks around.
I got them couple of times, they got me couple of times, all in good fun and sportsmanship.
We were fighting the last klinks at the kdf side of Ker'rat, fighting a darn good mine/torp laying bop and another kdf which did good spike. My daily popped up and said it was finished.
We were ready to head out to Defera (for the FM's obviously) until my eye spotted something; hey, cool! Someone from HoBo (always a good fight), let's do one last run...
As I said; my char is pretty new, no rep or fleet stuff yet. I had it setup as a drain escort, having the obvious phased polarons, leech, etc.
That guy went totally mad, first after throwing all his cheese at me (it was a bunch , let me tell you that) he totally went berserk:

I was in a non-fleet T'varo retrofit with a torp/mine build, Breen cluster torp and a quantum torp with high damage. My buddy was in a scimitar.
He takes on 2 oddys who are spamming FAW. They go for him. He spawns elite drone ships. The Oddys end up shooting each other. He fires the thalaron gun just for kicks, and they eventually manage to pop him just AFTER it shoots.
So now their shields are down and they're at half HP. And my Breen cluster torp hits, followed shortly by a torp scatter 3 crit.
Back a few months ago me and a fleetie did a 1v1. She was bragging about her Gal X, that she could tank anything. So I grab my Vesta because at the time it was the best ship I had (in fact it was the only ship I had capable of any meaningful damage at the time).
So we meet in the middle of the cracked planetoid, and 3 seconds later she's gone. Rinse and repeat till I find her spawn point.
She spawns, launches fighters, APA, CSV2, BOOM all gone.
She spawns, launches fighters, GW3, open fire, BOOM all gone
She spawns, launches fighters and attacks, I wait till my fore shields fall, TT, CSV2, quantum phaser, BOOM.
Then to be fair I go out of range, and launch my elite scorps. Well imagine the look on my face when 3 fighters are eating her alive. After nearly dieing and pulling it together she takes out those fighters so I give her a full six. BOOM, she's down again.
Then a friend who came to watch (and is loling with me) says I want to try. So I back off, he parks his Avenger in front of the spawn point, and does the same as me a few times over.
She was a good sport about it, but till this day she won't 1v1 me anymore, or let me teach her how to not die instantly. She claims she's gotten a lot better but still won't allow a rematch.
