Community Member P_Sutherland has written a Guest Blog about a little known planet in the Otha System, where ground PvPvE awaits you and your fleetmates.

    ive been meaning to go there, i dont think ive ever been. basically a ground karrat apparently

    So if it is like Kerrat, does that mean that borg drones warp in over and over while others stretch and shrink like and accordion?

    I havent been since Big Red Jedi played STO but Otha can be a lot of fun.

    There is just so much wrong about this particular person writing a guest blog on this particular topic. Especially with the subtle provocative wording within the actual article. Any Ground PvPer will know exactly what I'm talking about...

    Brandon passing wind again? Too many beans?
    I'm the guy that uses unconventional builds, and don't fall to the normal. I also don't believe in "No-BS" TRIBBLE, it's in the game, it's ready to be used. Think Clint Eastwood in Heartbreak Ridge.

    I think the blog was well done. It is informative to the non pvpers in the community. I welcome anyone that wants to ground pvp in a learning environment to our voice server.

    Well I would like to see more people down there but people need to be aware of who and what type of players are down there.

    I believe I ended up down there a couple times. About 2 years ago. Haven't been there since.

    If I remember right, I kept running around shooting all I could shoot at having no clue what to do. Pity this blog wasn't up at the time, I may have come to like ground combat more had I understood this map.
    TOIVA, Toi Vaxx, Toia Vix, Toveg, T'vritha, To Vrax: Bring in the Allegiance class.
    Toi'Va, Ti'vath, Toivia, Ty'Vris, Tia Vex, Toi'Virth: Add Tier 6 KDF Carrier and Raider.
    Tae'Va, T'Vaya, To'Var, Tevra, T'Vira, To'Vrak: Give us Asylums for Romulans.

    Don't make ARC mandatory! Keep it optional only!

    Last time I was in there in Otha, together in all zones was one player (me ) . Maybe if they redid the whole ground system to a playable format, that one now is a joke. So I would be able to visit some ground arena.

    Yeah kinda pointless its a lot like pi canis sorties and those other dailies that aren't played much anymore or at all. Otha and the klingon vs klingon one that rewards are obsolete as well since stf ground gear trumps all lol.

    First time I've heard of this zone. Not a PvP player so not really surprised. :rolleyes:
    Will have to go there, get very pissed at getting ganked over and over, then forget I heard of it in the first place.

    That would be the Shattering Harmonics set, which is used to detect cloak in exchange for minimal armor energy damage resistance. However, it's possible to work around that disadvantage with a bug. That bug is constantly used by a certain fleet group that also spawn/beam in camps on Otha.

    I would tend to agree. That was the most people I have seen on Otha period. Lots of new faces as well.
