Defeat Voth in the Battlezone not giving rewards

Replaying the Voth ground battlezone mission, "Defeat Voth in the Battlezone", multiple times on the same day will not give you any rewards.

Steps to reproduce:
1) Hail Commander Arnold, accept mission "Defeat Voth in the Battlezone"
2) Go into the battlezone and kill some Voths.
3) Return to Commander Arnold and claim the reward. This step will be successful.
4) Wait an hour or more for the mission cooldown to elapse
5) Hail Commander Arnold again and accept the mission "Defeat Voth in the Battlezone" again
6) Go into the battlezone again and kill some more Voths
7) Return to Commander Arnold and claim the reward. This time, no rewards will be given.

It's actually more complicated than that. What happens is you get your reward the moment the 5 minute timer ends -- watch for the dilithium reward pop-up notification above the chat box. Talking to Cmdr. Arnold at the end resolves the mission and puts it on its 1-hour cooldown, but you don't get the dilithium it says you're getting at that time.

But here's where it gets even more complicated: The dilithium you actually get when the timer expires doesn't match what Cmdr. Arnold says you're getting. IIRC, I usually get 40+ Voth and receive a reward of 720 dilithium, but he says I'm supposed to get 960. (Going from memory, haven't done it in a couple of days.)

Exactly how this person described it, it rewards you your dilithium the moment the timer expires, and not for turning it in as that will only put it on cd for the next.
