Claim Sponsorship Missing KDF (update: I got it working)

The claim sponsorship for the Borg Rep is missing,I have done what it says in the Dev Blog-Pick up mission drop mission and still it's missing I have it for the other Reps but not the Borg one I have looked here but can't find anything.This is only on one of my KDF Alts my feds are ok

    How did you "get it working"?

    I'm having the same problem with my Reman aligned with the Federation. I can't claim Sponsorship on any of the 4 Reputations. The option just isn't there for this character.

    Try starting and cancelling any project.

    It worked!

    I guess this is one of those irritating glitches in the game where you have to "just know" how to work around the bugs.
