Shooter Mode UI Overlay

I'm having a strange bug, where in shooter mode if I "aim" (default X button) the UI overlay of a scope comes up as a triagular shape with the circular crosshair moving north-east to south-west across the screen. It's a bit of a pint for me to get screenshots up, but I will post one if needbe though I can't do video.
This just started this morning, and is effecting all of my characters. (one Romulan, two Starfleet)
EDIT: Relogging did not effect this, however a full reboot of the game did. What a strange bug...
