But your words just prove my point The lack of balance as it is: to win you just have to invest a lot of money, pick the right buffs and just press "I win" space button (btw the same applies to rom warbird vapers).
Only Hannibal could kill Dius's nicor and mostly because Dius used regenerative shields. If you think you can beat him please welcome. All pvp players would learn a lot from you.
How many brave but stupid escorts have Dius to kill so people can understand that there is no balance in the game? Ahh, forget balance, let's try some logic. While cannon escorts fire one volley and circle around doing nothing Dius keeps firing at least half of his beams. Advantage. Dius has thick and fast lockbox ship with tons of resists, heals and lifesavers like QSM or RSP which is impossible to kill without major buffs like APA or GDF even if he was not firing. And Dius just nukes these buffs. Advantage. While Dius makes no mistakes in his fights no non-cloaking tac can beat him.

As can be seen, even in my most recent match with Han. I still get to eat humble pie from time to time so its not like im immune to every other build in the game.
A good player will always find a way to capitalize on the TRIBBLE, in any bodies armor...

Not only is STO not designed at all to be a proper 1v1 game... beam scort, damn Klingons used to laugh at guys like Ultime showing up in kerrat with there disabling beam scorts looking for a dual. Seriously man I mean this in a nice way put some cannons on and learn to pilot instead of just circle and wait for a good time to nuke. I see you blowing facings constantly in your videos only to circle to a new facing. Learn to pilot it with some cannons and give yourself some actual challenges worthy of a video treatment.

he basically is using always the latest thing...When the scimitar builds went down due to new shets he moved on to faw and so on...you can follow sto updates and what pve players use in his vids.By adapt he means "grind the latest TRIBBLE in game" .

Some good 5v5 videos featuring yourself would be good entertainment though. Perhaps you could upload some of those.

Nice match vs. Hannibel. He's got some impressive healing. What I don't like about it is that he's using jevonite hardpoints. At least in the third match this may have saved his ship.

I find these videos to be quite entertaining myself and i follow the progress to this thread because sometimes there is much entertainment to be found by someone stating silly things like dius is not that great a player because of o' so many reasons..... but most of them will never challenge him directly or looses a fight with him.... or someone that claims that they dont bother with 1v1 but for some strange reason has to comment something anyway..... so keep spending time in the something you are not interested in thus keeping me entertained.
That being said. Dius is one of the best players out there when it comes to 1v1. Even though i was lucky enough to beat him once in my old chel gret drain boat, im pretty sure i couldnt beat him today. I could best hope for a tie.... and Dius is one of of the players i have the most fun to play in team with... cause he knows what to do and when to do it.

To be frank I allowed some of his in game behaviour to cloud my judgement of him as a person. He has already been reported for that incident, I am sure my own personal dislike for the gentleman clouded my judgement. Regardless, after taking a few min and watching a few of the OPS earlier vids. I'll say it, I apologize for my earlier tone Dius. I still am no fan of 1v1s, of course your opponents have all been willing to give you a fight. If you guys both had fun and they have no issues with you posting videos, trash talk and all. Then by all means please keep em rolling.

Look the way I see it is like or hate it this thread, I sincerely hope, is being noticed by the Dev and they see there is a PvP community here an we do matter.
Understand that when I first made this thread a while back now, I would wait to join the ques for up to 10-20min before they popped sometimes, only 10-15 people hitting them.
It was never intended as a bragging channel, the way I figured it is... If my opponent can actually see what I am doing, whilst I am fighting them. Surely that has to be useful...
I've never tried to hide my skill tray even though it is pretty easy to do.
I would prefer people see what I'm doing / when I am doing it maybe come up with a counter I haven't seen before.

Relax, this build even in its more aggressive form with dem2 doesn't kill people. And Dius's nuke still counters it.

It's one thing to discuss performance in PvP in frank, honest, respectful terms. It's yet another thing to trash talk. But coming into a thread and disparaging another player just because you don't feel they measure up somehow, in your opinion, is not cool. It's also against the rules.
It's also not required that one be on some imaginary PvP player A-List to comment on PvP or to post videos of PvP matches for fun, entertainment, and instruction. If and when Cryptic creates a public PvP leaderboard system, then whoever is at the top can have his bragging rights on the forums... and only his bragging rights. That person still won't be free to come on the forums and bash other players.
If there is anything offensive or derogatory in the videos that are being posted, by all means let a mod know and we'll deal with it. Otherwise, Dius has every right to continue posting... Heck, even encouraged to continue posting.
He, at least, is respecting his opponents.

By all means, your right. The tone of my post did sound rather elitist. Your also correct Dius has every right to post his videos. To be frank I allowed some of his in game behaviour to cloud my judgement of him as a person. He has already been reported for that incident, I am sure my own personal dislike for the gentleman clouded my judgement. Regardless, after taking a few min and watching a few of the OPS earlier vids. I'll say it, I apologize for my earlier tone Dius. I still am no fan of 1v1s, of course your opponents have all been willing to give you a fight. If you guys both had fun and they have no issues with you posting videos, trash talk and all. Then by all means please keep em rolling.
One more thing I will add though is you have taken some heat from a few people for your choice of ship. I have no issues don't get me wrong I mainly fly lockboxes as well. Still it would be fun to see you post some videos of some other scorts. (assuming you have any I know nothing in the game is cheap anymore)

Look the way I see it is like or hate it this thread, I sincerely hope, is being noticed by the Dev and they see there is a PvP community here an we do matter.
Understand that when I first made this thread a while back now, I would wait to join the ques for up to 10-20min before they popped sometimes, only 10-15 people hitting them.
It was never intended as a bragging channel, the way I figured it is... If my opponent can actually see what I am doing, whilst I am fighting them. Surely that has to be useful...
I've never tried to hide my skill tray even though it is pretty easy to do.
I would prefer people see what I'm doing / when I am doing it maybe come up with a counter I haven't seen before.
