I've reported this bug through the system... but just in case other's have experienced this issue...
I just contributed over 2000 FMs to my Fleet's project Upgrade Spire II. I should have got over 100000 Fleet Credits back... which the system notified my that I had received. When I checked my total balance of Fleet Credits... I had 96000+...
So at the very least the 100K of FCs had disappeared... but more worryingly... I'm convinced that I had about 200K of FCs before the transaction... if I'm right... then it seems the amount of FCs got deducted and not added to...
Can this info be checked with the system? If more information is needed I can supply it.
As you can imagine... Losing either 100K of earned FCs isn't fun... let along possible 200K...

If you put your mouse over the cost on 1 of them, it tells you it costs fleet credits, like this Notice the icon it uses. You can see this icon for fleet credits in your Assets tab of your inventory.
This is usually what players get confused about when suddenly missing fleet credits. It usually turns out they bought fleet provisions from their ship replicator not realizing they cost fleet credits instead of energy credits.
Edit: A way to check is to look at how many spire provisions you contributed to the project and multiply that by whatever price your ship replicator shows. For me it shows the various fleet provisions cost 500 fleet credits each.
So if the project cost 500 Spire Provisions and they cost 500 fleet credits each then 500x500=250,000 fleet credits spent on spire provisions. (Not sure how many provisions the project requires, just giving you an idea on how your fleet credits can go fast when getting fleet provisions)
PS Thanks for the extra insight... thought I was going mad.
NP. When season 7 launched and we got the fleet embassy, the embassy provisions were added as a way for players with massive amounts of fleet credits and nothing to spend them on, to get rid of some of them. There is a special project for each of the 3 new holdings (embassy, dil mine, spire), where all it does is give a very tiny bit of XP towards the tiers and requires an input of nothing but provisions. A way for members with tons of fleet credits to get rid of some.
Sadly it means that often times projects will sit a while because fleet members are trying to build up their credits and nobody wants to spend them and start over. And with the fleet embassy, dilithium mine, and now spire, all requiring fleet provisions for a majority of projects, it's a real pain in the neck, especially for active fleets where projects fill fast and it's a first fill first to get credits situation.
Heck in my fed fleet, there was an upgrade project for the dilithium mine that needed over 500 provisions. After a couple weeks of nobody wanting to finish the project due to spending fleet credits, I went through all my characters in the fleet and bought the provisions myself. I'm still struggling to build my credits back up on my characters and that was a couple months ago at least.
