Hey Cryptic! It's great that Michael Dorn did the voice for Worf. But what about the other characters in the dialogue? It is rather awkward that we can enjoy his wonderful voice, but when he finishes a line and it is time for the other characters to speak, then we have to read the text of what the other characters are saying.... it crashes the fun-factor of being able to listen to the dialogue for a change and takes us back and forth between reading text and listening to a real person speaking. It's like watching a movie where only one person actually speaks any lines and the rest of the dialogue is closed-caption-only.
the corner has been turned for the kdf i think. finally a new end game ship, worf VO in the tutorial, the only tutorial with any star power, and a giveaway of a low tier ship! seems like a perfect storm for attracting new kdf players.
i hope the mogh proves there's money to be made making kdf ships. for once, this is not a tier 1-4 ships, that has no connection to a tier 5 ship, that is actually something desirable. the mogh does everything right, cryptic didn't TRIBBLE up again and release something pointless or undesirable. this is a real test of the faction's worth to cryptic. buy this ship, prove the kdf is worth development and investment.
The only thing left to do is a C-Store sale on character slots for those needing more to tryout the kdf now. I started 3 Klingons this year and guess I'll be starting another now.

Nice I allready have this ship why they don't ask klingons what they would like to have for those who allready own a klingon Char with that ship !!!
It happens with every ship they giveaway from the C-store... Last year they gave away the Nebula that I paid for and even uniform sets I've paid for. It happens just like when you buy a ship right before a ship sale, it sucks, but that's life and it happens to everyone.

The battery-like consoles are kind of awkward as batteries, since they have a long CD and put your regular batteris on CD too, but they might work as an alpha opener, if you can stand to wait 3 minutes to reuse them.
Pretty much this. They'd sell a TON of Oberth and B'Rotlh class ships if their consoles were converted to devices. If they made the rechargeable batteries we see in test ships like the Ambassador (in Temporal Ambassador) available as an account purchase, I'd buy that happily as well. Heck, make the Oberth and B'Rotlh consoles into devices and I'll buy both right now... yes, even the one you just gave away free; sell a different "upgrade" unlock for folks already owning the Oberth or B'Rotlh and get on that.
In any case, thank you very much for the ship, console, and costume unlock. I hope this gets a few more folks to try out the KDF side as well. I will be buying the Mogh, though not right away, and I might just re-roll a character to try out the new VO stuff this side... I keep a "disposable" character just to try out some of this stuff you guys add to the early parts of the game, though it would be wonderful to be able to replay or acquire the new things with my mains.
With each passing day I wonder if I stepped into an alternate reality. The Cubs win the world series. Donald Trump is President. Britain leaves the EU. STO gets a dedicated PvP season. Engineers are "out of control" in STO.
hopefully more people join the klingon side! the game really isn't much different on that side it is just a bit lonely right now.
I'm hoping for the same effect. Giving a free starter ship is great for people who had been thinking about trying a klingon. That there's now Worf's voice acting to enjoy as well, with any luck we'll see some new faces around First City this month.

I usually wait for a sale to buy anything (just got my Scimitar when it finally went on sale) but specifically to support the Klingon Faction, I'm buying a mogh as soon as I finish patching
Honestly, its great and all. The skin is awesome for my Fleet B'rel.
1st Question is, is the bug fixed where the Fleet B'rel can finally take the skin of this tier 2 ship too? It was bugged for a big while. It used to work on the normal Brel retrofit as i can remember, the fleet one was bugged and couldnt use it.
2st question is more of a comment, great KDF promotion and stuff, same for the cruiser, the fact remains that Fed Romulans and KDF romulans are still way outbalanced with the BOFFS they can use, 5x Superior Operatives, or add a nice Superior Infiltrator there.
Not even talking about the awesome singularity they can use.
C'mon cryptic, the long waited 'flanking' bonus isnt even going to set back the balance, and to make it worse the bonus will only apply to raiders.
Cool, I will pick this up. I love free ships, many thanks for the chance to get one. Even though I can't use the ship at the time. Since my new KDF that is flying BOPs is past that level. I can use the consul, and the skin when I get the T5 version.

Thanks for the free ship. I've been meaning to get it for the console I needed for 1 character but haven't gotten around to it yet. Glad I waited. The console is nice and works as I was hoping for.
Edit: The advertisement in the Hail Starfleet/KDF window says to create a new character to claim the ship. This is not true. All of my characters are level 50. All you need is a KDF character with at least 1 free ship slot to claim it.
Just like the ships you gave away that 1 week you gave free stuff away, once claimed it is as if you actually purchased it so it's permanently unlocked for your account and can be claimed on any qualifying characters for free.

The skin still doesnt work on the Fleet B'rel, only on the normal B'rel Retrofit. You guys said in one of the last Ask Cryptics to look into it.
Hence I bought the ship a while ago to put it on the Fleet B'rel in the first place.
ETA on a fix please? Its not like i didnt pay for it or anything..
