The following are gripes and bugs I've encountered so far with Season 8s Dyson stuff
Allied Sphere Space:
- NPC Ships
Some of the various NPC ships in these zones are often found to be locked in a "warp in" animation
- Zone wide announcements
Often there are announcements that a certain area needs Voth forces pushed back, yet to get there, there are no Voth and none spawn leaving you to wait around twiddling your thumbs to get credit
- Bugged Mission: Aground: Allied Zone Supply Depo:
If you're lucky your instance doesn't have a bugged out version of this mission. Normally you repair the ship and move the 3 cargo containers out the way, however there are times where the freighter is already ahead of the 1st cargo container which stops all progression within the mission
- Bugged Mission: Find the Missing Ship:
I once went to the location of said mission, Minefield, and could not for the life of me find said ship, I spent a good 5 minutes corkscrewing up the axis trying to find, when I somehow found this "Invisible" ship I had to defend it, from other ships, which I also don't see, so this mission has been left uncompleted
- In Progress Mission Text: Or lack of
This one annoys me the most, all of the missions say the same:
"Ship name, We require your Assistance
Follow the Instructions given by NPC Name"
I'd love to be able to pick up the mission where I left off, If there was actually any information I could re-read, I might not finish all the missions the day I pick them up so how am I supposed to know what my instructions were.
- Map Markers don't work
With most sector maps we know that we can click them and our ship will auto pilot us there, however on these space maps they don't seem to work at all, Perhaps have Supply Depo, Minefield, Ion Stream and Joint Command like Systems on a regular sector map.
Dyson Sphere Battleground:
- Map
"If you can't say anything nice don't say anything at all", Well that would kinda of defeat the purpose of the entire thread, so why don't we begin:
-- Doors
Yes, Doors, I've faced Borg, Species 8472, Jem'hadar yet my officers are scared of a door, often getting stuck at the entrance, meaning you have to then go back and hand hold them out of the door, as if BOs weren't already the bane of ground combat, Perhaps widen them so our BOs can get out or change the way the BOs follow you in the tunnel, heck even a single file line would work
-- Readability
You can barely read the map for the red/blue borders, often wondering "Can I walk that way" only to find out you can't as there's a building in the way especially around most of the transporter locations, When you have to try get from the City Omega Dino event to the Park you either have to run the long way around to the transporters or forgo them all together as its quicker to just run back to base. a button to turn on/off the current capture areas would be helpful to read the map
-- Travel Time
If you don't get one of the speed boosts or are a Tact officer with motion accelerator it can be a major pain in the TRIBBLE to get around, aside from the above transporter, Having to cross the entire map to get to a new spot is rather tedious, Why not allow us to use the shuttles that carry reinforcements over
-Rewards
These are pretty terrible, quite frankly the worse way to "reward" a player, So You've just managed to take down all generators? Congrats, here's 20/25 marks, scattered on the ground, lets hope you can get all of them before other players who are just running through decide to pick them up, sure there are a rare few players who won't take them if they arrived just as the point was capped
We can be awarded EC, Expertise, Fleet, Romulan, Nukara, Omega and Dyson marks, yet the way you thought to implement this was by having them fall on the ground that anyone can pick up? and considering you're gonna need about 80ish to finish that reinforcement mission, quite frankly appalling idea, I've often had to do it over 2 days as there are greedy players who don't contribute but will reap the rewards, I mean do you not remember that not long ago we were asking for tools to prevent players doing similar things in STFs?
To top this when they fall, they can fall in the most unreachable places, really Cryptic? how am I supposed to legitimately get these:

Once More unto the Breach, Actually I'd rather not, While I admit that skimming along the outer hull of a large ship is pretty cool, what follows that is not.
For those in larger ships which need a larger arc of turning this mission will be the death of you, Unless you love crashing into bulkheads or being tractor beamed back the distance you just tried to turn around in. Then after the dreadnought you can still get caught in the subcore's closing vice while trying to get around or a team mates fighters might target the "Subcore?" and we all know how that ends, and of course the main core has 2 sides always shielded, of course you can maneuver around but this thing seems to like large shiny ships and often ports them to it, making your maneuvers redundant. Perhaps make the Subcore room a bit less cramp so Ships like the D'Dex and Scimitars can actually have some breathing room
Of course this is all my opinion, for what its worth I guess

I have to agree, which is why the threads not called "OMG Season 8 sucks more then grav well 3!", there are some nice things added, New rep, new rewards, Nice new Lobi Costume, so while its not "great" its good
