I like it a lot, to me It makes me think of a Vor'cha and Peqchu' drank too much blood wine and had a wild night.

I cannot wait to buy her. I just hope I can make her look different enough I two characters, I dislike using the same ship as a primary on more than a single character, but for Q's sake take my money please.
Thanks for the Advanced Light Cruiser, Allied Escort Bundles, Jem-Hadar Light Battlecruiser, and Mek'leth

I kind of like it. I checked it out on Tribble last night, to me it looks like a Negh'var, a Pegh'qu and a Bortasqu had a threeway.

lol. well with overproof blood shine, anything can happen.....

Well , in terms of design , its always easier to adapt an already workable spaceframe into a different class than build a new ship entirely , thats probably the intention here, that or they want to try and establish some kind of continuity between the various ships

    ( that or laziness )

All true. And putting my crankiness with the design decisions aside, it is looking to be quite beautifully put together.

All posts about it have been deleted very fast. You could see it on tribble and holodeck for a short period of time but buying one did nothing.

So if you pronounce the ship's name or post a screenshot there is a very high chance it will get deleted :D
Better you just look at avenger's specs and wait for the model.
    It's named after Worf's father.

I rather like it, it looks like the Pegh'qu, but with hard edges replacing all the curves and rounding that always made the Pegh'qu seem too "chibi" or "cute" for my tastes (as a Klingon ship anyway).

I agree. Initially I called it the lovechild of a Negh'var and a Bortasqu', but then someone mentioned the Pegh'qu and I definitely see that in there as well. Those dirty, dirty ships.

It looks like a Neg'Var refit it looks roughly the right size and the head is quite similar.

Bent nacelles in that pic... The Fleet version accidentally leaked had no bend. So, that all but confirms a Fleet and C-Store versions.

BTW, I would expect the leaked specs to be off, as it doesn't seem to pay Ship HP for it's cloak compared to the Avenger (which pays via needing a console). Though, the Fleet Neg'Var has the same turnrate and shield mod as the Fleet Avenger but more Hull HP even with cloak, so who knows.

It seems only BoPs pay for their Battle Cloaks. Battle cruisers do not pay for regular cloaking, though they often have less console slots. I assume because the Klingon have had integrated cloaking for a very long time and the console slot may be the cost.
    Its not consistent though.

I don't like it, I am not one of the FAW A2B band wagon sheeple.

So much for the devs saying they don't want to kitbash ships.

don't get me wrong im glad they made something for the KDF finally. even if its a this ugly thing. but ill be sticking with my Tor'Kaht a bit longer. the way I play ill still do better than I would in the new ship.

I have the fleet version stats and its still not a 5 console ship the layout is exact same as the tor'kaht.

unlike the fed version it only has 3 cruiser commands . so the KDF still has NO ship with all 4 Cruiser commands.

I still think if the kdf was going to design a ship from scratch to combat something the feds have they would work to outgun it not just equal it. most of our lower lvl ships outgun the feddy bear s by one yet on huge ships with massive amounts of room we cant seem to be able to squeeze in more weapon mounts?

But im a bit excited to try out the flanking buff all KDF ships with cloak should get it not just BoPs, but ill be ok if they only give it to BoP

Well, nobody's saying you need to use either A2B or FaW :P

I got two build in mind, already, that involve neither. A non-faw, non-A2B beam build for my Engineer, a 5 DHC build on one tac and potentially a DBB/3 DHC/Quantum decloaker for another.

    *shrug*

We'll see how these turn out in practice, but there's lots of options, here. Dare ignore the meta :P

That missing fifth tac console may have been the cost of having integrated cloak. Though a fifth tac would be nice.

If by "fed version", you're referring to the Avenger class cruiser, the Avenger only has the Shields, Guns, and Dance commands; it does not have the Agro button. Knowledge gained during the "You didn't see anything" event indicated that the $name+1 had matching commands.

Given that it has the same stats as the Avenger (+ integrated Cloak), then its no surprise its a standard 4/2/4 layout, but it's exactly what the KDF needs :D

Bortasqu' Tactical Cruiser is the only Cruiser in the game with 5 Tac consoles, didn't expect any at all for any Cruiser if I'm honest (albeit more likely for Battle Cruisers), simpy because Cruisers need to have the most, or equal to the most, Engineering Console (with Bortasqu' Tac being the unique exception, I still wouldn't expect any for any other Cruiser)

Looking good - a nice modern heavy battlecruiser but still unmistakably Klingon. So kind of the Federation to save the Empire on R&D costs after stealing Klingon concepts.

    My Zen stand ready...

Oh yeah, looking great. This should definitely be a nice replacement for that old anniversary Bortas on my main.

One thing I noticed when I read its fluff text was that it was compared to the Negh'var.
And we know Geko originally talked about the ship like it would become a Negh'var variant, possibly with the additional guns on the underside like the one from DS9.
So what we have seen so far is th Fleet skin...perhaps the non-fleet/C-store look will actually resemble the Negh'Var or include the Negh'Var skin as an option.
Imagine seeing the Fleet Assualt Cruiser in the store early and of course not seeing it also comes with the option to use the Sovereign skin due to the limitaitons of the vendor window.

The Galor Class Lockbox ship has all 4 commands, and the FDCs have the attract aggro command.

The official wallpaper is in KDF green and has bent nacelles, so presumably it is the C-Store variant. Spinning the Fleet version around during the accidental pre-release event in the ship selector, I think it looks a fair bit more like a Negh'Var than the official pic and even the most circulated unofficial leak pic make it look. It's possible I suppose that the skins are compatible, but we'll see.

I was really hoping to get a Scimitar like dread. I don't even mind if they just take the Bortas model.

With the current state of things I don't see why it would be an issue. Look at the type of ships that are out there. And it the Devs just want to copy and paste, let them. As long as they keep adding variety to our line up.

If it isn't, well then we can still wait for another battlecruiser in the further future...assuming this one sells.;)

It looks awesome and is exactly what the KDF need. Now if only they didn't take 3 years a ship that would be even better.

It looks nice but how do we know its "what the empire needs" when the stats are still not released?

Lets not go ahead of ourselves just yet.

It's stats are more or less the same as the Avenger, they accidentally put the fleet version visible in the ship vendors for several hours with the winter event update. Couldn't buy it, but its descriptions were there for all to see. However it's unique console is is still a mystery though.

It was a fairly funny, friends didn't believe me till they saw it themselves, then they were stunned, followed by much celebrating with speculations of the best way to kill feds with it.
