Transferring my character/ship to another map seems to crash my game.

I haven't attempted map transfers with my other characters yet, so I'm not certain if the bug extends to them or not.
Last night I encountered a bug when I was on a ground mission in a random map of the Hromi Cluster. About midway through the mission my game froze up on the screen before it went black and told me there was no input coming from my computer. I tried to turn my monitor off and on to see if I could get my picture back, but still received the same message. Unable to see anything I tried to exit the game, clicking where I assumed the minimize button was, but eventually I had to restart my computer. A little while later I started the client up again and tried again.
1. The map for the Hromi Cluster loads up and my ship seems fine. I'm not detecting any graphical or UI issues.
2. I was able to access mail, fleet info, inventory, and character windows without any problems.
3. I clicked the link to resume the ground mission I had started.
4. Almost immediately I lost the screen and my computer crashed. The only difference was that the music started skipping, letting me know my computer was actually frozen.
5. I was forced to power down the tower restart my computer again.
6. This afternoon I logged in again and no problems detected.
7. The systems I mentioned before still worked.
8. I brought up my transwarp window and selected Allied Space in the Dyson Sphere.
9. Arrived in system with no problems for the loading screen.
10. A few seconds later my screen blanked out, telling me it wasn't receiving anything and the music started skipping again.
A little later I can try an take a phone video of the bug actually happening. I realize the quality might not be that great, but if it helps to diagnose the problem I'll do it.
