Arc not working. *Resolved!*

It won't load, just says searching for updates for an eternity then vanishes

    I was playing for a cpl hours myself this morning and made the mistake of logging out and I've run into the same problem.Say's it's updating then vanishes.

    I managed to get it to load but it gets frozen as soon as you click play

    Just use the game launcher... You dont need arc to play STO yet.
    Don't look silly... Don't call it the "Z-Store/Zen Store"...

    The patcher decided to go ahead and download 2276 MB. How utterly convenient.

    Hmm... have you tried to "just" start the game client then?

    To run STO without ARC, run this file: C:\Program Files (x86)\Perfect World Entertainment\Star Trek Online_en\Star Trek Online.exe

    I made a shortcut of the file to my desktop :D
