STO demo launcher error

I have dowloaded the "sto demo laucher tool" for work in some videos, but wen i try to open the recording, it's show a message like this:

"fatal error: SerializeReadOpen: invalid signature on file"

What the hell is that? And how can i solve this problem?

I havn't used the tool in ages, but from what I remember, the recording only work untill the next patch.

Basically it requires the game to be in the same version as when it was recorded.
