They just released their trailer. What do you think of this Trek Fan movie? And yes, I say fan movie because it's not an officially licensed production.

    the star trek name is held by cbs as well as the various things the of gods and men crew plan to bring to their show. they need approval.

    trailers don't mean anything, contents can be changed at any time. however did i see a cardassian and a breen in that group? :P.

    For a fan-made trailer... That one has a pretty solid casting.

    Also, the Breen looked fat.

    and as I briefly mentioned in my original thread about it, this is being done to give to CBS to see if it interests them.

    normally you go to the studio, hand them an idea, possibly a script and they say yes or no. if you can hand them something that is already done then its got more chance or grab their attention. its got some talent in it so it should be better than any old rubbish thrown togther.

    if they like it, they would most likely remake it properly. if they dont, then it will just stand as some semi professional/fan made project like 'of gods and men'.

    I see it as more of "Star Trek: The Dirty Dozen". :D
