TOS face options

We have the TOS Klingon uniforms, how about the the facial features? I want to look like I've been augmented with human DNA

    I would love if they threw this option in the character creator. Instead of having to use an "alien" to make one. This was part of Klingon history, so we should have a choice to use it if we choose.

    Yeah, you really cannot duplicate the eyebrows from TOS Klingons, I made one on an alien while referencing a pic of Kang, got something that was reasonably acceptable (which is surprising for me, I am always surprised by how little details turn me off to otherwise exciting character concepts for me in any MMO). Had less success with a TMP Klingon.

    Just do what everyone in this situation does: make an alien crew, problem solved.
    Yes it's not the 1.000% perfect solution but then that's what the alien gen is for.
    It's the tool to do that which Cryptic doesn't provide.
    And TBH it works pretty well for me and my bridge officers:

    You can get a Klingon Augment DOff (well, OK, there is exactly *one* of them and he's insanely rare) so why not a playable race?

    The only issue with the Alien gen is that you can't take the Klingon-only trait. Actually, what the game *really* needs is TOS Klingon dresses, as seen in Day of the Dove.

    I second, third, and forth this point!

    Honestly I'd pay for a pack with the TOS Klingon face & outfit.

    I absolutely agree! We need more options in general - e.g. cranial ridges - I want to be able to have something more in the direction of General Chang!

    ButTOS face options- would be just amazing!

    I make TOS Klingons by using Aliens and making them look like Humans with dark hair, tanned skin and TOS uniform, looks pretty accurate I think.

    It's all ironic when we consider that TOS uniforms are already available and the only option we need for making TOS Klingons are generic humanoid 1 and 2 head options and a few more eyebrows. A quick unlock in the character creator for Klingons would be enough. :P

    Two male Klinks and a Gorn say no. I have one Orion Boff, and she's wearing the Bortas uniform thanks very much.

    Considering the fact that the devs gave the Romulans the option of having a TOS face (no forehead "V" ridges) then we really should have the option of a Klingon TOS face.

    If Cryptic and the devs need a financial justification for adding this to the game then offer a "Klingon Augment" character unlock similar to the Joined Trill unlock that gives special buffs and a unique skin for TOS Klingons.

    My Orion does wear the metal bikini. However, if players bother to read her character bio, that is just her performance outfit. She is NOT that kind of girl. Any solicitations of the sexual nature are answered with a swift kick to the groin, or other offending organs.

    To the point, I do want to see the TOS foreheads added for Klingon characters. As a lifetime perk would be fine with me.

    Why not just make it a C-store Playable race purchase?

    KDF side only naturally,

    Adds a touch of balance too, feds get renegade Klingon Captains,
    Klingons get Human-esque Captains

    Hell might even get some more people to stick with their Klingon and not arrange 'unfortunate transporter accidents' for them for being butt ugly :D

    A perk for being a Premium Playable species could be an improved honorable that gives space benefits too (again, bringing it to parity with human captains/boffs)

    Throw in some extra hair options for Klingons beyond dreadlocks and slightly different dreadlocks and I'm sold!

    As a lifetime subscriber I'm against making this a lifetime only perk. I already get plenty handed to me on a latinum platter. Besides, Cryptic seems to try and make it fair by having liefetime perks available for all factions. All 3 factions get a veteran ship and shuttle that are nearly identical stats wise, and the playable Liberated Borg is available for all 3.

    I do like the idea of making a ToS klingon species available as an actual species, instead of just some extra head options for existing klinks. Put it in the c-store and I'll buy it. The KDF need more playable species anyway.

    Other things to note: The Klingon ToS belt is NOT available for females for some reason. Females have only 2 skirts which are both the same but one has extra details, the warrior skirts from the lobi store. The best boots, in my opinion, for the ToS uniform are the bulky tall 1 boots, but bulky tall boots aren't available for females so they have to resort to using the 4 spikey boots, or orion sandals if available (though you could use bortasqu', korath, or fleet dil miner, but it's not the same). Edit: (It seems klingon females in ToS didn't wear a belt. That may be why it's not available.)

    Some actual ToS boots for klingons would be nice, as well as a skirt option for females. At the very least I would at least 1 generic free skirt option for the KDF (or put it in the c-store).

    Edit: Basically I would like to see this (23rd century uniforms) http://en.memory-alpha.org/wiki/Klingon_Defense_Force_uniform There is a full pic of a ToS klingon female and that's an outfit I would like to have. Also the pants and boots the males wear. And a ToS sash that goes over the LEFT shoulder.

    I'm cool with not being able to have an augmented ToS head. But is there a reason why Cryptic hasn't added full klingon ToS outfits? All we have are the shirt and belt. That's it.

    I agree.

    Once PWO FIXES my KDF toons ability to actually USE costume slots AND my KHG uniform unlocks that I spent crazy amounts of dil on . . . (sorry, just annoyed my 2 bug reports and countless tickets have all gone unanswered/addressed) . . .

    . . . yes, Klingon facial features from TOS would be nice.

    I loved it when Klingons were just white dudes painted brown, with goatees. Would also like the old school collar ranks/pips as well. While we're at it, the Klingon TOS "Vest" portion of the uniform was actually stripped - NOT solid gold. It would be nice to see that fixed as well.

    Additionally, TOS Klingons had glittery short-pants and boots that were just above the knee. In short, the current TOS Klingon uniform is waaaaaaaay off.
