So I got one of the Pallisades Science Vessels from the Lobi store, and it came out with a nice single random name, no USS, no NCC, no numbers, just a name.
However when you rename it, it automatically reverts to USS <name> with no way to remove the USS and the NCC/NX like on other non-federation ships.
On most lobi store and lockbox ships, you recently have had the option to do away with the prefixes... not in this case.
