Problems logging on

I am having problems logging onto game. I get onto character selection screen, it starts to load, and then it crashes. I have NW account, could that be conflicting with my STO account?

    Same here... char selection..... loads forever... kicked out .. trying again.. loading forever....kicked out.. trying next day...

    Unplayable..... Maybe next week.

    Usually I wait a week when a new season is released to log on.
    Seems that this is probably the best solution this time.....

    Same issue for me too - reaches the character selection, but it's just an unresponsive black screen and waiting achieves nothing.

    Only way I can quit out is via the Task Manager.

    Guess we wait for a hotfix then *shrug*
