Your game now crashes loading holodeck since lastnights patch.

It crashes my video card, loads into a black screen (this is after I see the legacy splash screen) it did it on Tribble for season 8 tests, it does it for NeverWinter sicne an update months ago, worked fine after Patch #1 yesterday, crashes goes black screen and if I try to maxamize it it kills sto with a D3d error.

I hate you cryptic you ruined my morning and week.

Be sure soon as someone else gets Trek game out there even the lame new trek base, I will so be out of here.

I will repeat myself, Idiots.

Why because I filed bug report after bug report everytime it crashed, but you see bug reports get ignored unless it's someone getting 1 extra dilithum ore a day, that would be emergency patched.

    Whoa, calm down.

Change your POV; you're working in a store, baking beautiful cakes and such. Now someone bought a cake and put it in his car. He drove way too hard and caused the cake to crash inside his car.

Well, that guy drove back to say you were an ******** for not creating stronger cakes. Are you going to make him another one after such an harassment?

That's quite the paradox, how could you nerf nerf when the nerf is nerfed. But how would the nerf be nerfed when the nerf is nerfed? This allows the nerf not to be nerfed since the nerf is nerfed? But if the nerf isn't nerfed, it could still nerf nerfs. But as soon as the nerf is nerfed, the nerf power is lost. So paradoxally it the nerf nerf lost its nerf, while it's still nerfed, which cannot be because the nerf was unable to nerf.

I call it, the Stoutes paradox.

I always laugh when people blame cryptic for their PC's or Hardwares limitations or issues. The typical causes for video card crashes is overheating. Most likely you have outdated drivers or have activated some of the cards settings or features that are not compatiable with the game. For example on my card if i activate mulit-core oversampleing the card will crash when I launch the game. You should reset the cards features to default, download the newest drivers and load the game into safe mode and set its video settings to default also. But speaking from experience you'll most likely dismiss this and shake your fist at the faceless villians "Cryptic" beasuse thats easier than fixing the issue yourself.

If it was an issue that could be fixed on our end a Whole bunch of us would be playing the game instead of getting multiple CTD's. So the problem is actually on the Devs end.

As angry as he is, I have the same problem. I can hear the game sounds at the menu, but all I see is a blank screen. I can only see the game when I put it into safe mode.

I sounds like we're having similar issues. I can get on and play the game for some time, but the audio will eventually start rapidly repeating like a broken record, and the game will crash.

I will get an error message: Direct3d kernal has crashed while locking vertex buffer.

This is NOT word for word. I'll try to get a screenshot next time the error occurs.

No one seems to be aware that Perfect World Entertainment now runs Star Trek: Online, or as I prefer to call them: Imperfect World Entertainment.
