Play as Tal Shiar/Alternate storylines.

Soon after escaping Vininat, player is confronted by Tal Shiar officer asking him or her to side with Tal Shiar. Cherva try's to get you jpoin to Tal Shiar.

It would actually be nice to have separate missionline for playing as Tal Shiar where you would not side with KDF or Starfleet at all.

This would also open up possibilities toi mission lines for Klingon intelligence and Section 31 mission lines.

In wild dreams, we should actually have separate storylines for Diplomacy, different Careers and so forth. It only would add more replay value to alts when you actually have more than one storyline per faction to explore.

I'd actually like a story line like this where you can choose to leave the faction you chose and go with the Tal Shair and once a certain Colonel dies, you can slip into his shoes.

City of Heroes introduced content a few months before they shut down that after you completed a specific story arc, you were able to do a single player mission where you played as a significant npc of that story arc in a flashback. You had the same look and same powers as that npc. It provided additional story to the arc by showing the reasons why that npc was acting in that particular manner. This is the only way I can see Cryptic allowing us to play as a willing member of the Tal Shiar. I could actually see us being able to join Section 31 and Klingon Intelligence since while their actions are not following the ideals of the Federation and Klingon Empire, they do serve a vital role and are not an enemy.

We can't play bad guys, and work with the Evil Iconians that want to destroy the galaxy. Anyway, STO Tal Shiar only share the name with TV show Tal Shiar, they are just puppets for an alien power.
