New Fleet Ship for Fleet Starbases!!??!!

So new ship at shipyrd {fleet} you say but fine print say you have to be vetren to access these well then they are not fleet ship they Vetren ship {Full STO Membership NEEDED} haa!

    I assume you're talking about the new Spire ships. 3 of them are for Veterans Only and 3 of them are for everyone.

    There needs to be some benefits for the people who pay to be Gold.
    STO is about my Liberated Borg Federation Captain with his Breen 1st Officer, Jem'Hadar Tactical Officer, Liberated Borg Engineering Officer, Android Ops Officer, Photonic Science Officer, Gorn Science Officer, and Reman Medical Officer jumping into their Jem'Hadar Carrier and flying off to do missions for the new Romulan Empire. But for some players allowing a T5 Connie to be used breaks the canon in the game.

    The veteran ships are for veterans. You thought they would change that for the fleet versions of the veteran ships? Why would you think that?

    My understanding is that anyone can buy them now, veterans just get a discount to 1 module.

    No, the 3 1,000-day Vet upgrades are only for people who have the ships. That's why they say:
    *Purchase of these starships requires 1,000-day veteran status

    They only costs the Vets 1 Module, though.

    Important note: There are actually 4 ships for non-veterans. :cool:

    lol they are VETERAN fleet ships, not plain fleet ship. And as others told, ability to buy veteran fleet ships with anyone will only TRIBBLE off veterans. And they are totaly right.

    I woulda rather they gave the 1k fleet vet ship 5 tact consoles than the eng one they gave. As well some other saucer/nose piece it makes it look like some kind of star wars junk.

    Wait, you actually thought that you would be able to get the fleet versions of the Chimera/Pegh'qu/Daeinos ships without being a Veteran of 1000 days or a Lifetime Subscriber? I don't know how you could have thought you'd be able to get that without having either of the two REQUIREMENTS needed. If you didn't buy a subscription, then you don't deserve it. So, here's a suggestion: don't whine about it since you can't have it. If you buy a subscription at a later time, you'll be able to get the Fleet version as well. There was no hidden agenda behind this, it was always going to have that stipulation. It's not Cryptic's fault that some people failed to understand that.

    Actually - i'm a Veteran and I wouldn't mind non-Vet's being able to get the Chimera, Pegh'qu, or Deimos fleet versions for 5 fleet modules. The Variable tac console would still be Vet exclusive, so only Veteran players could do the nifty transform weapon overload thing. Other players would just have access to a pretty mean destroyer.

    Probably just my opinion, though.
