    Probably for the same reason we didn't see people on the show running around in full battle regalia at federation starbases in the show..... typically weapons on starbase are confined to authorized security personnel. As the Starbase for an RP fleet is an immersive environment, SB security is likely to ask people entering to put away armor and weapons, or escort the offender off of the station.

    Here we have a fleet opening the doors to their imersive environment to anyone, and only ask that while there you operate within the context of that environment. Kudos for them doing this.

    My take on this whole issue is that it is a collection of non-issues.

    ERP? Probably happens, but I've never seen it. Although I've lost count of how many times I've had a fire extinguisher blasted in my face or had an unwanted disco ball to avoid.

    Very strange how all the arguments given to those who dont like disco balls (move, change instance, grow a thicker skin) don't apply to those who dont like RPers. It's almost as if the whole shebang is merely a sophist argument to justify doing whatever the hell they want.

    Channel wants to set rules for itself? My god, what next. If I follow the OPs argument correctly, they want to do the real life equivilant of knocking on my front door, being refused entry and then whining because they can't eat my food.

    Seriously, weak.

    I think it started there to be honest. :P

    ===post above is by peetapipmac===

    Edit: I also agree that this thread is done. Per the owners of the channel, it is for roleplay, not for invites for fleet gear, as mentioned in the blog. Thanks! -Brandon
    It's not my fault if you feel trolled by my Disco ball... Sorry'boutit.
