Is anyone else having massive issues with BO pathfinding? Mine seem to have collectively flunked navigation 101. Any fixes? It's getting quite irritating (to say the least) trying to complete the Nimbus quests...
Same here, although when Nimbus first released the BOFFs had no problem staying with you because they would bunch up together, which was rather ridiculous looking. My guess is that they fixed that behavior and the end result is now your BOFFs get stuck on the tiniest of obstacles and get left behind.
Railings, small rocks, invisible obstacles you name it, it stopped them. They also seem to have issues finding the doors!
I also came across an inordinate number of stranded boffs from other players. I must have bumped into Tovan Khev about 5 times.
It came to a head in stronghold for me. Went into the makeshift jail and was down to 3 boffs. Entered first cell, killed bad guys, exited, was down to two. Next cell, down to one. I had to commit suicide so that I could respawn and get them all back! "Hey! Mr Bad guys! Shoot me!"
I notice the NPC members of the away team get stuck at various corners of the structures on Nimbus III. You have to manually set waypoints to get them to follow you sometimes. Lately it seems to be a more frequent issue.
Edit: This is not restricted to Nimbus III, just recalled having the same issue in some random nebula mission interiors, not long ago. This *besides* the flat out broken exterior stuff that has always been there, where you have to abandon the whole thing due to non-existing pathing. General pathing issues of a more recent nature, seems thus to have emerged...

As I noted in my Unwanted Race Change post, BOff size matters.
The bigger the Boff, the more likely he is to get stuck on something.
My one Fed crew of alien clones (concept build), all 4'6" tall, never ever got stuck on anything, ever.
My KDF crew of 8'7" Gorns on the other hand got stuck on everything, two of them even manage to get stuck crossing the bridge leaving the Gorn canyon and as far as I could tell there's nothing there to get stuck on - but they managed it anyway.
The less said about them in the makeshift prison the better, but I will note I had to manually walk each one out of the area, the path-finding kept trying to route them through walls.
If you did the proverbial "draw a line in the sand" they wouldn't be able to cross it.
So until they fix this, you might try making your BOffs minimum height.
Oh, if you're Romulan, this won't help with Hiven, he seems to be programmed to be a lazy, useless slacker who will always lag far behind, do almost no fighting and is likely to get stuck on every single ground mission.
He should have been named Albatross.
I was doing low-level mission chain yesterday and noticed this quite frequently. My BOFFs get hung up all over the place now. I was having problems everywhere. Its very bad in Nimbus but I think that is just because all of Nimubs is on the ground so you have more opportunity for problems.
This is something that has actually been happening since the Beta days. Not all BOFFs are created equal, unfortunately, and as a result you get the occasional mental defective that doesn't understand that constantly running into the doorframe isn't actually going anywhere.
ive had this happen too. plus I cant use rally point to get them to move out of any are.
rally point just wont set. anyone else have this problem?

Wait until they start falling through the floors on the Hirogen wormhole mission ("The Hunted"). It's quicker to just die and respawn, than to try and go back and lead them away.
Yes I found this leveling up a new Fed toon over the weekend. My boffs would disappear one by one and appear you yo-yo from 5m away to 300m, finally going unconscious!
I ended up storming the bridge with just two boffs at one point
Yes this has been a perennial issue since beta but lately it is FAR FAR worse!
I have a couple of toons still to run through Nimbus but I'm holding off until this is fixed.
EDIT: I haven't been able to use "Rally point" either. It wont set or when it does the boff ignores it.
Noticed this a lot this weekend. In fact, one of my BOFF's decided to commit suicide by jumping off the force field bridge at the beginning of Installation 18. When I went back to see what had happened, the other three jumped off. Since it was just me against everyone, I jumped off, too so I could respawn and get everyone back.
