Now there is alot of bashing, especially from the KDF players since they know they got all the good stuff, while the federation has mostly crapy ships.
LoL???
I dont belive it but i really, really, REALLY,REALLY hope you've been sarcastic there.
I do not buy the limited resorces excuse after hearing well they have done in both proft and Dev team growth recently
Well, you should. Game development isn't purely a problem of manpower. In fact, in some cases, throwing more people at a problem makes things worse. There are certainly labor-intensive aspects to making new content to any game (why do you think they debut new ships more often than they debut new missions?), but having more cooks in the kitchen is rarely the ideal answer.
Growing the dev team is a good answer if, say, you have a lot of members "wearing multiple hats" as is often the case with indie projects, but with a major MMO I'd wager many of Cryptic's new devs entered on the service side, as community managers, quality control, and other "grunt work" jobs that can't make a significant dent in the actual tasking of resources towards content generation.
