Since yesterday I'm experiencing a persistent
Crash To Desktop when trying to enter the game with my (only) Romulan character, which results in not being able to play this character any more. The last action before this problem occurred was trying to enter
Drozana Station.
I replayed an episode involving talking to a key NPC on Drozana Station and then moving to another system, which didn't lead to any problems so far. I was able to complete the mission and got the roundup hail afterwards, receiving the rewards and gaining the experience points. I decided to return to Drozana Station to bank some goods and re-equip my ship(s), only to get the aforementioned CTD upon entering the station.
Since the game client tries to put my character into Drozana Station after loading the level there's no way for me to revert the situation, rendering this character inaccessible and unplayable until this problem is solved somehow.
Upon the CTD I Keep getting a system pop-up with the following message:
Fatal Error: Corrupt pig file detected:
Technical Details: Corrupt pig file detected: Texture_Library/Environment/1_Assets/Misc_Props/Dabotable_01_N.Wtex:
This leads me to believe the game client crashes over only a texture/mesh error, which I find very odd. What's even more frustrating for me is the fact that I had been able to visit Drozana Station several times and up to 10-15 minutes before until the problem arose. File verification after a CTD doesn't solve this problem either.
I haven't experienced this issue with any of my Federation or Klingon characters, but now I'm quite reluctant to try it and take a risk of being unable to play those as well.
Is there anyone who has the same or similar experience with this issue? Is there a workaround or am I stuck until this problem is solved somehow?
I really hope this issue can be solved soon because I'd like to continue with my Romulan character. I'm already missing out on Crystal Shards this way.

You can also contact support and see if they can move your character to another location so you can access it.
Dude, you absolutely rock! That did the trick, turned out it was the first texture pigg. I deleted it, the launcher picked up by downloading a fresh one like you stated and I was able to log in without any problems.
Truckloads of thanks to you, Sir!
