Mission: Facility 4028

I originally posted this somewhere else in the Forum, but was suggested that it should be listed here, so if I am wrong I want to give my apology up front.

I completed the above mission and selected the Jem'Hadar tactical Officer Candidate, nothing wrong with this part. But I did not see or notice that it sates only one per character. I perform research on the STO Wiki and other places and found no information that you are limited to only one per character, so I completed the mission a second time and then that is when I found out that you are limited to one per character. I was wanting two of the Jem;Hadar for my Way Team.

With other items in the game you can find in several locations that it is bound to you and a limit of one per character {or the item has it stated on the item itself}, but not this one. IF I am wrong and missed something I want to say up front I am sorry, but I try to be careful with my research and do research as needed so I do not have some of the problems I have heard from other players of STO or like this issue.

I am hoping it is just an over site or a bit of missing information that can be inserted easily.

I found that out myself with that boff many months ago. It is 1 per character and also bound to you whether as a candidate or commissioned and can't be traded or sold in the exchange.

Unfortunately boffs aren't marked as being only 1 per character or marked that they are bound and can't be traded.

The could add text to the rewards for this mission stating that you can only have 1 per character though. They could also add text to the boff info saying it is limited to 1 per character, and it would be nice if it would say it is bound also. Bound boffs can't be traded, not even to have another player train it in a skill you need, at least that's how it should be.

The boff is always available so if you dismiss it or use it as a candidate to train another boff, which causes you to lose it for good after training, you can replay the episode and get a replacement as many times as you want.

Thanks for the information on the training, had not tried or thought of that one.

I agree they could add a bit of information that would not cause this situation, as they have done with so many others. Why not do it for all of them. Sorry that makes too much sense and seams like the right thing to do.

    Hello everyone!

When I completed in first time mission "Facility 4028" my Bridge officer candidate roster was full and my inventory had empty slots. I choose my reward - Jem'Hadar tactical Officer Candidate - and in dialog window with him choose variant "Not now". He's disappeared after this. Not applied to candidate roster or my inventory. I don't have this officer.

I some cleared my candidate roster and replaying mission. I choose Jem'Hadar tactical Officer Candidate again and receive this message:

You may only have one of that officer.
You may only have one of that officer.
Bridge officer candidate roster is full!

I have no this officer but I can't take him again.
What can I do in this situation?
