More 2 piece set bonus gear?

I've been trying to look for any info of if the way the Romulan ships just got the bonus for the quad cannons and a console will be occurring for the rest of the game? Everyone has quads as an option to them, but the Romulans are getting all the new toys and bonus abilities.

I think they are pampering the romulan class right now...it's fine, they are the new faction...I'm sure they'll eventually apply something similar to FEDs and KDF.

Ahh yes...wahh wahh wahh...I'm a fed and someone else got something so I should get something too! Romulans are a new faction and if any faction deserves more things it's the KDF!

So? My point is still valid...just because the KDF happened to be involved with those doesn't mean it isn't just more Fed whining. I didn't see and KDF asking for a Scimitar like ship when it was released but I saw feds demanding a Typhoon class ship based on the Scimitar when it came out.

Also didn't seem to bother people a week ago when the ship was kinda weak, but now they add a hanger and give it some power and now all the sudden people are worried.

Besides quads suck and are only really good for leveling.

The two set bonuses to the Rommie stuff is worrying because of the power creep it'll inevitably engender.

Nothing to do with people wanting ridiculously big ships.

KDF folks have been asking (rightfully so) for 5 fore weapon ships since the Kumari was released. That includes the timeframe surrounding the launch of the Scimitar. If you haven't seen those requests, you haven't been looking.

"Weak" is entirely relative. Compared to stock KDF/Fed escorts the Ar'Kif was markedly superior. Compared to Romulan ships it was markedly inferior. Now it's still superior to Fed/KDF ships, but it has it's niche amongst the Romulan ship stable (without a fleet version it's still at the bottom of the barrel, but one can't realistically call it a Dhelan knock off anymore).

Yeah they asked for one, I'm sorry I forgot when a Fed demands something someone else has that is what...a request? But when a KDF wants something it's a whine.

I didn't see KDF demanding a Scimitar copy...I've seen them ask for a 5 fore weapon ship but I've never seen them demand as much as the Feds do. Whenever someone gets anything a Feds response is "What about me?"

Calm down a little. Whining isn't exclusive to any one faction. There are Feds who want the battle cloak and defiant pets on the Gal-X, and they're idiots. There are also Klingons who want a new Raptor thats basically the Bug plus flight deck, battle cloak, and 5 fore weapons, justifying it as some sort of 'getting-even fairness' as near as I could tell. They are also idiots. Idiocy abounds in all factions. They're all just players after all. Not worth having a stroke over.

Having some more set bonus for both the Klingons and Federation side is something that I would love.

Feds are some of the most selfish and delusional people I have ever seen playing a mmo, no not all are like that. Yesterday I saw a Fed actually try and claim every major update almost since the game launched was about the KDF.

It's just getting tiresome seeing them whine when someone else gets something since for almost two years they got everything while the KDF got nothing. To see them after two years of getting everything good, seeing them complain about them not getting much in LoR which was based around adding more to the KDF and getting the Romulans going.

Power creep, thats the issue.

Not roumlans getting toys, we all know they need a bigger roster.

The issue is that the toys they are getting don't seem at all balanced.

As a "gray beard" player, all this talk about toys and slots and such matters little, although it's fun to talk about it. If one wants a really powerful ship, make all the BOFF slots universal then give it to a captain who knows why that matters. That's the ship that would be "unbalanced" because it would "over-value" skill instead of weapon slots. Give 5 weapon slots and an added console slot to an incompetent captain and it matters little. I am not trying to pass myself off as a genius. I say this only because I saw one captain (and it sure wasn't me) who was commanding a stock, non -retrofit, non-fleet Galaxy and who was beating the stuffing out of fleet MkII-paid-$100-dollars-for-stuff-at c-store-and-lock-boxes, ships ,with all the bells and whistles. He would eventually get blown up but he seemed to be dealng out more than he was getting and doing it in what is widely considered to be one of the lousiest ships in the game.
